Vaccinology in the Tropics
The upcoming Vaccinology in the Tropics third international conference to be held
January 20-22, 2016 in Panama City, Panama, is accepting abstracts for scientific
posters. The meeting is a dynamic forum for the exchange of the latest scientific,
clinical, and practical advances in vaccine research and development, tropical
medicine, immunization programs, and global health.
The abstracts provide the foundation for the scientific sessions and poster sessions,
and serve as the cornerstone of the meeting’s scientific content.
Submission guidelines
Deadline: November 12, 2015. Midnight.
Abstracts must be submitted using the online Abstract Submission Form
(http://goo.gl/forms/4NeD4tjlNq)
1. Content
Abstracts should contain data and/or
concepts not previously presented or
published.
2. Poster presentations of the
abstracts
The posters will be displayed at a special
showroom for the scientific posters. The
best two posters will be selected for oral
presentations. Due to the large number
of submissions, the selection process for
oral presentations is especially
competitive.
Topics include: public health, global
health, clinical, scientific research, and
laboratory-based science related to
vaccines.
Poster size is 4 feet wide x 3 feet tall are
displayed throughout the conference at
the poster sessions. Poster presenters
are requested to be available to
informally elaborate and discuss the
poster with interested viewers. The
presenters are required to register for
the conference.
3. Format
Abstracts may be submitted and
presented in Spanish or English. The
title, authors, author affiliations, and
body of the abstract should be entered
in standard sentence case, not all upper
case letters. The character limit for the
abstract (not including title, authors, etc.)
is 250 words.

Está aceptando resúmenes científicos para presentar en la 3ra conferencia
internacional que se realizará en la Ciudad de Panamá, Panamá los días 20-22 de
enero del 2016.
La conferencia internacional es un foro dinámico para el
intercambio de los últimos avances científicos, clínicos y de salud pública en el
desarrollo e investigación de vacunas, medicina tropical y Salud Global.
Estos resúmenes son la base para las presentaciones y sesiones de pósters, y sirven
como la base del contenido científico de la conferencia.

Los resúmenes deben ser sometidos usando el Formulario de Entrega de Resúmenes en línea

Los resúmenes científicos deben
contener datos o conceptos que no
hayan sido presentados o publicados
previamente.

Científico
Los pósteres estarán exhibidos en una
ubicación especial a lo largo del
congreso. Los dos mejores pósteres
serán seleccionados para presentación
oral. Debido al gran número de
propuestas, el proceso de selección de
las presentaciones orales es altamente
competitivo.
Se aceptan temas de salud pública,
salud global, clínicos, investigación
científica y laboratorio relacionado a
vacunas.
Los pósteres de tamaño: 4 pies alto, 3
pies de ancho, se presentarán a lo largo
del congreso en una sala específica para
la presentación de pósteres. Los autores
deben estar disponibles junto a sus
posters para presentar el contenido de
sus estudios y discutir el poster
los
visitantes interesados. El presentador del
póster debe estar inscrito en el
congreso.
3. Formato
Los resúmenes pueden enviarse en
español o inglés. El título, los autores,
afiliación de lo autores deben ser
sometidos en formato de oración (evitar
textos en mayúsculas completas).
El límite de caracteres del contenido del
resumen es 250 palabras (no incluye
título, autores, etc.).
