The 8th Grade class will be taking their 8th Grade trip to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to see the
following sites!
• Liberty Bell
• National Constitution Center
• Franklin's Print Shop,
• "ROCKY STEPS" at the Philadelphia

• Carpenter's Hall
• Spirit of Philadelphia Dinner Dance

Thursday May 12th 2016

6:00 am
Departure from Springs (Students must arrive at School no later
than 5:45 am)
12:00 pm Arrival in Philadelphia. Join your Tour Guide at the Independence
Transportation Center (ITC) located adjacent to the National Constitution
Center on 6th and Race Street. Time for lunch at the Bourse at your expense.
1:00 pm
Guided tour of historic Philadelphia. Tour to include: Liberty Bell, Franklin's
Print Shop, Franklin Court, Carpenter's Hall and as many sights as time
permits. Visit Independence Hall and Congress Hall (pending availability).
4:00 pm Visit the National Constitution Center- the first museum in the world
dedicated to honoring and explaining the U.S. Constitution through more than
100 interactive exhibits.
5:30 pm Climb the "ROCKY STEPS" at the Philadelphia Museum of Art with time for
a photo opportunity
7:00 pm Dinner dance cruise aboard the Spirit of Philadelphia.
10:00 pm Check into your hotel: Four Points by Sheraton Northeast

scheduling conflicts and many other unforeseen issues. To protect your payments, Gerber
Tours offers the essential Cancellation Protection Program (CPP), which assures you a
refund in case you need to cancel for almost any reason.

Late payments will incur a $100 fee. Payments received within 30 days of departure
will incur an additional $36 to cover late processing fees.
Cancellation of this tour prior to 60 days of departure will receive full refund, except for
supplier contractual fees and charges and the non-refundable booking deposit as
specified in the Payments & Deadlines Schedule
Cancellations occurring within 60-15 days of departure will be subject to cancellation
fees of 20% of the Tour Cost, the non- refundable booking deposit as specified in the
Payment Schedule and any amounts paid to suppliers to confirm Group's reservations.
Cancellations occurring within 14 days of departure will receive no refunds.

If a student strikes off the trip the trip is NONREFUNDABLE.
§ If a student receives 3 major strikes the student will not be able to
attend the trip.
§ If a student receives 9 minor strikes (equivalent to 3 major strikes),
the student again will not be allowed to attend the trip.
