Pope Francis has declared an Extraordinary Jubilee Year of Mercy beginning on December 8 and ending next November 30, 2016. The Holy Doors at the Cathedral are

POSADA
The Spanish have a tradition at Christmas called the “Posada”. Mary & Joseph come to a
home each night knocking to seek shelter. They enter and there is a light social with the
family in that house plus those who come with Mary/Joseph. This practice begins Dec. 17 till
Dec. 24. @ 7pm - A list of the Posadas is listed below.

BIBLE STUDY
The BIBLE STUDY - Salvation History begins this Tuesday, October 13 at 7PM in the Rec-
tory. The Study starting with Genesis and ending with the New Testament, features a DVD
by Jeff Cavins as part of course. If you have ever heard him speak, you will know his
talks are informative, clear and entertaining.
The Study is a 24-week course, but will be
divided into 6-week sessions to make it easy to attend. This first 6-week will end on Nov.
17 and will pick up again in Lent. Consider signing up for this course, you will not be disappointed. Call the Rectory to sign up or for further information.
