Ourgradere lectsseveraldifferentfactors,suchastestresultsofallstudents,
growthfactorsthatcomparetestresultsfrommultipleyears,andotherfactors
suchasgraduationrateandcollegeexamparticipation.
Asparentsorcommunitymembers,youcanalsotakeprideinthefactthatyou
haveplayedastrongroleinthegradeourschoolreceived.
Wecontinuetostriveforexcellence.Weknowthereisalwaysroomforimprovement.Wehavecurrentlyidenti iedareasofimprovementandarealready
puttingsystemsinplaceinordertoincreasetheeffectivenessofourexisting

We are pleased to announce
Dove Schools initiated partnership with the
USA Science and Engineering Festival
to host the third annual
Tulsa STEM Expo on December 4, 2015
at the Tulsa Expo Square Central Park Hall.
It is with great excitement that we invite you to join us during this special event.
The 3rd Tulsa STEM Expo is an innovative alternative to traditional science fairs,
including demonstrations, games and robotics from students across Oklahoma. It
is open to all students and parents. It was developed to increase public awareness
about the importance of science and to encourage youth to pursue careers in science and engineering by celebrating science. The Expo will feature more than 100
hands-on exhibits and more than 20 participating corporations and organizations including museums and universities.

Great News!!! New addition to our school this
year is the DSA Raptor Spirit Squad!
We had a great turn out for the new DSA spirit
squad. On Sept. 26, six students were picked as
our first Cheer Squad, 14 other students were
selected for the Pep Squad, and 2 students were
selected for Raptor Mascot. Our cheerleaders
this year are Juliana Bendure, Ashlyne Cornejo,
Hope Stallings, Kourtnie Fields, Haylee Tiger,
and Raissa Acedo with Shayanna Mason and
Natalie Benavidez as alternates. Pep squad
members are Aquila Scott, Neida Solis, Briseyda
Saldivar, Cera Moore, Sanea Tinsley, Brenda
Fuentes, Rachel Doyonghe, Esmeralda Gonzales,
Dani Misir, Khe’Le Hoang, Ti’Ani Moore, Josi
Vasquez, Alyanna Moore, and Alexis Contreras.
The Raptor mascot this year is Jermaine Bruner
with Micah Phillips serving as mascot alternate.

The Spirit Squad will be promoting school spirit through
different activities throughout the year including cheering at basketball games, promoting character building
activities, and helping with different assemblies
throughout the year. There will be two major fundraisers for the Spirit Squad: 1) Sales of spirit shirts that students will be able to wear on game days, and 2) a car
wash on Oct. 24 with information soon to be available.
Please support your Spirit Squad and be a positive
member of the Raptor Nation.
WINTER CONCERT
The Winter Concert will be on December 8th
at 6:30pm. The concert will involve 6th, 8th
and High school. Admission is free and everyone is invited to attend!
There will be a trip to Spain in Spring break for Dove Science Academy parents, students, and staff. The price for the trip is $2150. It includes transportation, accommodations, breakfast, and dinner.
Here is a sample travel payment plan,
1st payment: October 30th --------$500 (Non- refundable)
2nd payment: November 27th ----$500 3rd payment: December 30th -----$500
4th payment: January 30th --------$400 5th Payment February 15th -------$150

Dove Science Academy-Tulsa features a unique college fair on
Friday, November 20th, in which students have an opportunity
to meet with admissions and financial
aid officers from member colleges
and universities across the nation.
Students are able to visit, ask questions, build partnerships, and enjoy
college atmosphere with representatives from a wide range of institutions.

Dove Schools asociaron con el Festival de Ciencias y Ingeniería de USA
para acogar el tercer annual
Tulsa STEM Expo el 4 de Diciembre 2015
en Tulsa Expo Square Central Park hall
Es con nuestra gran emocion que los envitamos a que nos acompañen durante este evento
especial. El tercer Tulsa Stem Expo es un innovador alternativo a una feria de ciencias
tradicional, incluyendo demostraciones, juegos y roboticos de estudiantes de todo Oklahoma. Esta disponible para todos los papas y estudiantes. Fue hecho para tener un entendimiento de la importancia de ciencias y para motivar a jovenes a seguir una carrera en ciencias y ingeniería. El Expo va tener mas de 100 presentations hechos por estudiantes y mas

Buenas Noticias !!! Hay una nueva
adición a nuestra escuela este año un grupo de
porristas de DSA RAPTORS! Tuvimos muy buenos resultados con este nuevo grupo de porristas. El 26 de Septiembre, seis estudiantes fueron
escogidos para nuetsro primer grupo de porristas ; y otros catorce para el grupo de animadores,
y dos estudiantes para ser la mascota de la escuela. Nuestras porristas este año serán Juliana

El nuevo grupo de porrisitas va a promover orgullo y
felicidad de la escuela en diferentes actividades durante
el año incluyendo siendo porristas en los juegos de
basquetbol, promoviendo actividades para ser mejor
persona teniendo buen carácter y ayudando no
diferentes asambleas durante el año. Para recaudar
fondo se va vender camisetas que estudiantes van a
poder usar días que haya partidos. Por favor apoyen a
este grupo de porristas y animadores y se un miembro
positivo de la nación de Raptores.
EL CONCIERTO DE INVIERNO
El Concierto de Invierno será el 8 de diciembre a las 6:30 pm. El concierto involucrar los
grados de sexto, octavo y de la escuela
secundaria. La entrada es gratis y todos son
bienvenidos!
VIAJES INTERNACIONALES
Habrá un viaje a España en las vacaciones de primavera para los padres de Dove Science
Academy, los estudiantes y el personal. El precio del viaje es de $ 2150. Incluye transporte,
