¡¡Remember Religious Education Program has stared !!
Futures registrations will be held every Sunday, after the 9:00am
Mass until 11:45 during classes at the School . On Weekdays will be
at the Rectory Office: Mon. Tue. and Wed. From: 10:00am to 12:00
and 1:00pm to 2:00pm. First time registration, you must bring a
copy of your child’s birth Certificate, Baptism Certificate and for
Adults as well. Registration for the second time, if you did not submit the documents last year, you must do it now, Your child cannot
receive the Sacrament of First Communion or Confirmation without
those documents. For those children who received First Communion in May can register for the Followers of Jesus classes.

Holy Family
December 27,
2015
In today’s Gospel we
experience Jesus telling Mary and Joseph
that He must be in
his ‘Father’s house’,
yet he remains obedient to his parents.
God draws us by
special attractions. If
the attraction comes
from God, it leads
you to ‘loving obedience’. In doing God’s will, ‘loving obedience’ undertakes a
command lovingly, no matter how difficult it may be. We desire
that God take all our affections and actions, and shape them.
This road will surely lead you to reap a harvest of blessings.
In the Scriptures, Jesus tells us often that He came not to do His
own will but the will of His Father. During His mortal life, Jesus
also lovingly obeyed His parents and others. Our Savior now
asks of us to imitate the loving obedience that He rendered, not
only to the Divine good will, but also to His earthly parents. Joseph and Mary received great joy because they helped Him, and
remained constantly in His presence.
What causes us to be inconstant and changeable in our moods to
love and serve God? It is the diversity of our desires. Constant
mood swings come from our inordinate desires. Holy love has
only one desire: to love and serve God, who desires we have a
tranquil spirit, and experience in this world a slight foretaste of
eternal joy.

En el Evangelio de
hoy escuchamos a
Jesús decir a María
y a José que Su
lugar está en “casa
de su Padre”, aún
cuando él continua
obedeciéndolos a
ellos como sus padres. San Francisco
de Sales observa:
Dios nos acerca a él
por medio de atracciones especiales.
Si la atracción
viene de Dios, los
conducirá por la
senda de la
“obediencia amorosa”. La obediencia amorosa hace que asumamos
un mandato con amor, sin importar cuán difícil sea, en cumplimiento con la voluntad de Dios. Entonces deseamos que Dios se haga
cargo de nuestros afectos y nuestras acciones, y que los moldee.
Ciertamente el seguir por esta senda los llevará a cosechar bendiciones.
En las escrituras Jesús frecuentemente nos dice que El no vino a la
tierra a hacer su voluntad, sino a cumplir con la voluntad del Padre.
Durante su vida como mortal Jesús obedeció a sus padres y a otros
con amor. Nuestro Salvador ahora nos pide que imitemos esa misma obediencia amorosa que El demostró, no sólo para con la voluntad Divina, sino también hacia sus padres en la tierra. José y María
recibieron una gran dicha por que lo ayudaron, y porque pudieron
permanecer constantemente en presencia Suya.
¿Qué es lo que hace que nuestro estado de ánimo cambie y que no
sea constante a la hora de servir y amar a Dios? Es la diversidad de
nuestros deseos. Los cambios constantes de nuestro estado de ánimo son resultado de la desmesura de nuestros deseos. El amor Sagrado sólo tiene un deseo: amar y servir a Dios; quien desea que
nuestro espíritu este tranquilo, y que podamos experimentar en
este mundo un leve anticipo de lo que será la dicha eterna.
