Queridos Padres/Tutores,
Esperamos que estén disfrutando el verano y el buen tiempo con sus familiares. Ya que estamos en el mes de junio
hay que pensar en el comienzo del año nuevo escolar que se aproxima. La facultad está muy contenta de comenzar
el año nuevo escolar y abrir las puertas de la Escuela ALBA nuevamente por decena vez. Estamos alegres de haber
conocido a muchos de ustedes en estos años pasados y con gusto esperamos conocer a los nuevos estudiantes y los
padres muy pronto. Aquí les enviamos información importante para el primer día de escuela, el cual es el martes,
11 de agosto de 2015. Estamos seguros de que los estudiantes aprenderán mucho y que tendrán mucho éxito
este año 2015-2016.
 Incluimos en esta carta la lista de los útiles escolares. Esperamos que tomen provecho de las ofertas que
las tiendas ofrecen para los materiales escolares. Favor de traer todo lo que pueda durante la primera
semana de clases. ¡Se requiere que cada alumno venga en su uniforme TODOS LOS DIAS
comenzando el primer día de clases!
☺ Día de Registración, lunes, 3 de agosto desde las 9:00am hasta las 11:00am en la
cafetería.
 Dependemos de su apoyo en llenar las solicitudes especialmente para el almuerzo gratis/reducido. La
solicitud será enviada a su casa. Favor de llenar y devolver la forma a la oficina central o a la escuela lo
más pronto posible. Les recordamos que durante la registración el 3 de agosto, habrá un personal
disponible para ayudarles a llenar las formas requeridas.

Ofreceremos un día de Casa Abierta el lunes, 10 de agosto comenzando a las 4:00pm hasta las 6:00pm.
La presentación empezara a las 4:00pm en PUNTO en el auditorio. Favor de llegar a tiempo. Tendrá la
oportunidad de conocer al maestro(a), la escuela y el personal de ALBA. Tendremos uniformes a la venta.
Es mandatario que haya un padre presente de cada familia en este evento informativo para aprender de los
procedimientos del salón y las expectativas del grado.
 Las clases comienzan martes, 11 de agosto a las 7:35 en punto. Si viene en coche/auto, tienen que
estacionarse en el estacionamiento en la esquina de la Calle 32 y la Burnham. Allí no recibirán multas
de la policía por haberse estacionado en la calle. La escuela no es responsable de pagar multas de
estacionamiento. Los alumnos deben formarse en el logotipo (el sol) de la escuela pintando en el suelo del
patio. Las puertas azules del patio de recreo son las únicas puertas que la escuela usará para entrar y
salir.
 Medida de Seguridad: Deberá firmar el libro de visitante ya que es póliza de las Escuelas Públicas de
Milwaukee en relación a la seguridad de los alumnos y facultad de la escuela.
Como siempre, estamos contentos y dispuestos para recibir matrículas nuevas en la escuela. Aceptaremos alumnos
en todos los grados de K3 Head Start hasta el 5to grado. La Escuela ALBA es una escuela pequeña y muy familiar
así que dependemos de sus referidos para mantener una buena cantidad de alumnos para poder ofrecer las clases de
las bellas artes y equipos de deportes.

Dear Parents/ Guardians,
We hope you are having a great summer and enjoying some of this warm weather with your family. Now that it is
June, it is time to begin thinking about the new school year that is quickly approaching. The faculty is delighted to
start the school year and to open our doors to ALBA school for the eleventh year. We are happy to have met many
of you in the past years and look forward to meeting our new students and parents soon. The following is important
information you need to be aware of prior to the first day of school which will be
Tuesday, August 11th, 2015. We are confident that all students will learn a lot and will have great success
this 2015-2016 school year.
 We have included in this mailing, the supply list. We hope that you will be able to take advantage of sales
for school supplies. Please bring everything to school during the first week of classes. It is required that
every student comes to school in his/her uniform EVERYDAY beginning with the first day of school.
☺ Registration Day, Monday, August 3rd starting at 9:00am until 11:00am in the cafeteria.
 We are depending on you to complete the applications for free/reduced lunch that will be sent to your
house. Please fill it out and return it to Central Office or to ALBA school as soon as possible. Again,
during the registration day on August 4th, staff members will be able to help you fill out this form as well
as other required forms.
 We will offer an Open House on Monday, August 10th from 4:00pm until 6:00pm. Presentations will
begin promptly at 4:00pm in the auditorium, so please be on time. You will have an opportunity to meet
teachers and staff members, and get to know the school. We will also have uniforms for sale. It is
mandatory that a parent/guardian is present at the event to learn the procedures of the classroom and the
grade level expectations. Mark your calendar.
 School begins Tuesday, August 11th at 7:35 a.m. sharp. If you are driving to school please come
from Burnham heading north on 32nd Street to the playground to drop off your child. There is a parking
lot on the corner of 32nd and Burnham for school use. You risk receiving a police ticket if you park on
the streets around the school building. ALBA school is not responsible to pay for parking tickets. Once at
school, students should line up on the large school logo (the sun) painted on the playground. The blue
doors off the playground are the only doors that ALBA School will use for entering and exiting the
building.
 Sign-In Security: Every time you enter and/or exit the building, you MUST sign in and out of the visitor
log located outside of the ALBA office. This follows MPS policy regarding the safety of students and
faculty.
As always, we welcome new students for enrollment at ALBA School. We are enrolling students in all grades from
K3 Head Start through 5th grade. ALBA School is a small, family-oriented school; therefore we depend on your
recommendations to retain enough students to offer fine arts classes as well as sports.
