KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS – “Little Black Books”
will be available beginning Feb. 7-8 for the Lenten
season. All profits from the Lenten books will be
added to the Advent profits and presented to VCS
tuition assistance Fund. Please be generous with
your contributions for this worthwhile cause.
Spanish versions are available.
The KC’s would like to congratulate Hampton Derivaux,
Olivia Waring, and Simran Patel as winners of the KC
Substance Abuse Poster Contest. We would like to
thank Karen Calnan and Ann Claire Fordice for judging
the posters.
KC meeting Schedule – All Tuesdays except 5th
Tuesdays of the month to anyone: 7:30 Rosary and 8:00
Meeting.
Fish Fry – to benefit Haven House is Friday, Feb. 13th and
April 10th.
KC Fish Fry every Friday during Lent
EXCEPT Good Friday.
CYO – EDGE and LIFETEEN will meet this Sunday,
Feb. 8th at 5:30 p.m. in Farrell Hall. Dinner will be
provided.
Youth Mass will be next Sunday at 11 a.m. Mass.
ABBEYFEST – It’s not too late to still sign up for
Abbey Youth Fest! It will be held March 21st in
Covington, LA. Registration is $30 plus meals
(includes a t-shirt). Contact Brittany Gunkel at

ANGELS OF MERCY – We provide assistance to new and
expectant mothers in St. Michael Parish. If your family is
expecting, please contact Lori Williams at 601-638-8448 or the
Rectory so we may keep your family in our prayers
VICKSBURG ULTREYA – will be held Sunday, Feb. 8th at 6
p.m. at St. Paul Church. This will be a pot luck meal. All
Vicksburg area Catholics who have made a Cursillo are
encouraged to attend.
February is
MISSISSIPPI CATHOLIC Catholic Press Month and our Bishop asks us
to send Mississippi Catholic to every family
in our Parish. Please help us by remitting $25
to the Parish this month. Envelopes are in
your monthly set of envelopes.

Sacristy to volunteer to help celebrate on Lenten Soup nights and the
rest of the Lenten Season. Thank you!
STATIONS OF THE CROSS – will start on Friday, Feb. 20th at 5:30 p.m.
ASH WEDNESDAY SCHEDULE – is on Wednesday, Feb.
18th Times are 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. There will be a
sign-up sheet in the Sacristy for Eucharist Ministers,
Altar Servers & Lectors.
LENTEN SOUP AND SCRIPTURE – will begin on Feb.
25th and continue every Wednesday during Lent, once
again our collections will benefit the needy in our
community.
GOOD SAMARITAN DRIVERS - A list is posted in
the library behind the glass of drivers that have
volunteered to drive parishioners if they need a ride
to Mass, functions, meetings, Dr. visits, etc. If you
would like to be a part of this ministry, please sign
up in the vestibule of the church. Thank you.
ANNUAL CATHOLIC SERVICE APPEAL – This
weekend we are asking all parishioners of the
Diocese to consider a gift to the CSA. Our theme is
Called to Serve. Jesus showed us how to serve
when He washed the feet of His disciples; and He
asked us to serve others humbly and unselfishly.

BEREAVEMENT COMMITTEE – We are here to help you and
your family while dealing with the loss of a loved one.
Volunteers prepare meals for parishioners who suffer a loss in
their family. If this committee can be of help to you, please
contact the Rectory. We are always happy to have new
volunteers in this ministry. ….please call Christy Middleton at
638-7398 or Babs Hearn at 638-9319 if you would like to
become a part of this wonderful ministry.
COURTYARD BRICK GARDEN -- If you are interested in getting
a brick for the next group, please see the Church office. We
will get your order started for the next time our brick man
comes to town.
FIRST COMMUNION – the parent that was scheduled for Thursday,
Feb. 12th has been canceled. Parents please check your e-mails for
more info.
