Connections Home Group Vintage Church Come together for prayer before the morning service, beginning at 10 am in the gymnasium. Morning worship starts at 10:30 am, and our evening service, which starts at 6:00 pm, will again centre on a time of prayer. For all who have signed up to participate in the choir and our Easter Cantata, please note that practices will take place Mondays at 6:00 pm. All 3 are eligible for reelection. Please be in prayer as we look to God to lead and direct in this process. Nominations close today, and ballots must be signed and confidential. A Call to Prayer During the month of February, we will continue our emphasis on prayer with an early morning prayer time at 7:30 am on Wednesdays for any who can join us, as well as our evening prayer service at 6:30 pm. As well, you are encouraged to make time for preservice prayer at 10 am Sundays in the gymnasium. While many books want to teach you how to “do” church, Mark Driscoll offer’s a video series on what the church is. In Vintage Church he presents twelve confessional, experiential, and missional aspects of a local church with an emphasis on balancing the eternal truths of Scripture with timely, relevant methods. Study Leader: Terry Knock Date: Tuesdays, beginning Feb. 17th Time: 7:30 pm Location: Knock Residence El Salvador Missions Trip Next Sunday, Feb.8th, we will be receiving a special offering to support Kelly Embree, Matthew Prince, and Ashia Penney as they prepare to leave for El Salvador on a 10 day missions trip with a team from the Maritime District of the PAOC, and from NL. All three will be sharing during the morning service about their reasons for going and their expectations for the trip. Kingsway Live! A night of music and song with all proceeds to support the El Salvador trip. Everything begins at 6:00 pm, featuring a variety of singers and musicians from Kingsway. Refreshments will be available following the service in the gymnasium.
