ANNUAL CHURCH BUSINESS MEETING will be on Monday, February 9, at 7:00 p.m. Every member is encouraged to
attend and have input for the plans of the church in 2015.
TEEN YOUTH RALLY: If you are between 12 - 19 years of age, you don’t want to miss this year’s Teen Youth Rally at
Foothills Camp on February 6 - 8. The theme for this year is “Chosen.” In the book of Jeremiah 1:5 it says, “Before I made
you in your mother's womb, I chose you. Before you were born, I set you apart for a special work. I appointed you as a
prophet to the nations.” God has Chosen you to do something special and amazing for Him. Come and join us as we listen
to Pastor Josue Sanchez, a youth expert who understands youth culture, share powerful messages from the Bible. For more

DRIVERS NEEDED: Volunteer Link, College Heights branch, requires more drivers with cars to transport local seniors to
appointments within and outside our city. If anyone in our church fellowship would like to be involved in this area of
community outreach, please contact Vic Latoski personally or phone 403-789-8715.
LAST CHANCE for ladies to sign up with the Women’s Ministries Secret Sister program. Would you like to give and
receive the gift of friendship (someone you might not even know) this year? We’re having a “Secret Sister” program to
encourage the women of our church to touch one another’s lives in small ways. “Secret Sister Invitations” with more
information are on the Women’s Ministries table on the south side of the foyer. If you would like to participate, please
return your information today by placing it in the offering plate or leaving it at the church office no later than Thursday,
February 5.
SHARE YOUR FAITH: Have you ever wanted more tools to share your faith? The Red Deer Seventh-day Adventist Church
will be hosting a training weekend with the Change School of Evangelism on Friday, January 30, at 7:00 p.m. Join us again
on Sabbath for morning and afternoon seminars that are sure to encourage and enrich your experience. All are welcome to

WOMEN’S MINISTRIES RETREAT, “Waiting on The Lord” will be March 27 - 29, 2015 at the Red Deer Sheraton Hotel.
Keynote speaker, Adrienne Townsend, is the first US Navy Seventh-day Adventist female chaplain. She has blessed many
with her dynamic and life-changing seminars and workshops. Her passion for soul winning and appeal of the gospel is felt
from generation to generation. Please note, there are no walk-in or Sabbath only registrations. Brochures with more details

ADVENTIST SINGLES WINTER RETREAT will be held at Foothills Camp, February 13-15. The theme for this year is “The

OPEN HOUSE: ECS / College Heights Christian School Open House, Thursday, March 5, 10:00 - 11:15 a.m. Parents, you

CUC DRAMA SOCIETY invites you to the production of “The Merchant of Venice.” Show times are tonight at 7:00 p.m.
and tomorrow at 6:00 p.m. in the CUC Ad Bldg Chapel. Admission charged, proceeds go toward Peruvian Orphanage.
SUNDAY AT SEVEN: presents the Kang-Mercer-Park Trio. Judy Kang, violin, Rachel Mercer, cello and Angela Park, piano
have chosen an all-encompassing program which combines the great traditions of the chamber music repertoire with
diversity of style and discovery. The concert will be Sunday, February 8, at 7:00 p.m. in our church. Admission will be
charged; free admission for CUC faculty, staff, and immediate family.
CAVATINA ITALIANO, an evening of music, skits, and more is presented by CUC/PAA Choral Union on Saturday,
February 7, at 7:00 p.m. in CUC Administration Building Chapel. A small admission will include dessert.
