BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION: There will be a “surprise” celebration for Mary Van
Goosen’s 95th birthday on February 7 at the Fifty Plus Potluck put on by her
granddaughter Michele Hughes, daughter Beth Thompson and friend Elsa Patton.
All her friends and family are invited to stop by for some cake and ice cream. If
you plan to eat at the potluck meal, please bring a dish or two.

PRAYER FOCUS FAMILIES
A MEMORIAL SERVICE FOR MARY HEDRICK will be held on February 14 at Calhoun Adventist Church at 5 p.m. Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers
donations may be made to the Worthy Student Fund at Coble Elementary School.

DEATH: One of our church family, Stephanie Smith Bible, passed away January 17
at the age of 39. Our deepest sympathy and prayers are with all her family including grandmother Donna Hooper and aunt Sandra Hensley.
BAGS OF LOVE MINISTRY needs volunteers to sew bags for the children. Complete bag kits with instructions can be signed out at the kiosk. We are also seeking someone who can assist with making community connections. Call Sandi Bakland at 706.218.6078 for more information .
LIBRARY BOOK GIVE-AWAY: To make room for new books, our church library is
giving away hundreds of great Christian books! These are duplicates of materials
we already have and are available to anyone who would like them. They are on a
table in the hallway across from the library.
FOOD BANK STATISTICS FOR 2014: The Food Bank helped 10,355 families in 2014
with a total of 34, 442 individuals.
HOLIDAY FOOD BASKETS: Thank you for your food donations to the Food Bank
for holiday food baskets which allowed us to give out 58 baskets of food for
Thanksgiving and Christmas!
