GATE 2015 score will be valid for a period of THREE YEARS ONLY from the date of announcement of results. Eligibility Pattern of GATE 2015 The following categories of candidates are eligible to appear in GATE : ŸBachelor's degree holders in Engineering / Technology / Architecture / Pharmacy (PostDiploma / Post-B.Sc. / 4 years after 10+2) and those who are in the final year of such programs. ŸCandidates in the final year of the Four-year Bachelor's degree program in Science (B.S.) (Post-Diploma / 4 year after 10+2). ŸMaster's degree holders in any branch of Science / Mathematics / Statistics / Computer Applications or equivalent and those who are in the final year of such programs. ŸCandidates in the second or higher year of the Four-year Integrated Master's degree program (Post-B.Sc.) in Engineering / Technology ŸCandidates in the fourth or higher year of Fiveyear Integrated Master's degree program or Dual Degree program in Engineering / Technology. ŸCandidates in the final year of Five-year integrated M.Sc. or Five year integrated B.S. M.S. program. ŸCandidates with qualifications obtained through examinations conducted by professional societies recognized by UPSC/AICTE (e.g. AMIE BY IE(I), AMICE(I) BY ICE(I)) as equivalent to B.E./B.Tech. Those who have completed section A or equivalent of such professional courses are also eligible. Examinations for all the papers including the submission of documents will be conducted in ONLINE mode only (Computer Based Test).
