Nicene Creed
I believe in one God, the Father almighty, maker of heaven and
earth, of all things visible and invisible. I believe in one Lord Jesus
Christ, the Only Begotten Son of God, born of the Father before all
ages. God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God,
begotten, not made, consubstantial with the Father; through him all
things were made; For us men and for our salvation he came down
from heaven,
(all bow) and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary,
and became man.
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate, he suffered death
and was buried, and rose again on the third day in accordance with
the Scriptures. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right
hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living
and the dead and his kingdom will have no end. I believe in the
Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father
and the Son, who with the Father and the Son is adored and
glorified, who has spoken through the prophets. I believe in one,
holy, catholic and apostolic Church. I confess one baptism for the
forgiveness of sins and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead
and the life of the world to come. Amen.
Preparation of the Gifts: You Are Mine
Sanctus (Holy, Holy)
Holy, holy, holy Lord God of hosts.
Heav’n and earth are full of your glory.
Hosanna, hosanna, hosanna in the highest!
Hosanna, hosanna, hosanna in the highest!
Blessed is he who comes in the name of the
Lord. Hosanna...
Mystery of Faith
We proclaim your Death, O Lord, and profess your resurrection
until you come again.
Amen
Agnus Dei (Lamb of God)
Song of Praise: Psalm of Hope
Page 4
Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world:
(a.,b.)Have mercy on us. Have mercy on us. (repeat)
(c.) Grant us peace. Grant us peace.
Practicing Catholics (those at Mass each week and
regular at confession) are invited to receive the
Sacrament. Non practicing Catholics should go to
confession before receiving Holy Communion.
Non Catholics are welcome to come for a blessing
(cross your arms over your chest).
Communion Chant: That All May Be One in Christ
Sending Forth: All Creatures of Our God and King
Verses
1. God, Creator of us all, you have called us each by name.
Many faces, some that are new, make us one in you.
2. God, you sent your only Son, to become the Savior of the world.
Feed us with the Bread of Life; make us one in Christ.
3. God, you breathe upon the earth. Send your Spirit into our lives.
Change our hearts to fashion anew the love we find in you.
Let Us Be Bread
1. I am the bread of life, broken for all. Eat now and hunger no more.
2. You are my friends if you keep my commands,
no longer servants but friends.
3. See how my people have nothing to eat.
Give them the bread that is you.
4. As God has loved me so I have loved you. Go and live in my love.

Aclamación del Evangelio

Ordinario
Entrada: El Señor Es Mi Luz
Credo Niceno
la Virgen, y se hizo hombre;
Y por nuestra causa fue crucificado en tiempos de Poncio Pilato;
Gloria
Estribillo:
Gloria a Dios en el cielo, y en la tierra paz a los
Hombres que ama el Señor Altísimo.

2. Señor Dios, Rey celestial, Dios Padre todopoderoso.
Señor Hijo único, Jesucristo, Señor Dios, Cordero de Dios,
tú, el Hijo del Padre. (Estribillo)
3. Tú que quitas el pecado del mundo, ten piedad de nosotros;
(a Estrofa 4)

Give and it will be given unto – XII
“May God who has begun the good work in you bring it completion” – a quote from the various rites seminarians pass
through on their way to ordination, quoting from Paul’s letter to the Philippians. When I went to the seminary I was told I
could not work, and that my needs would be taken care of. We received $150.00 per month to cover incidental expenses; our
room and board, books and tuition were covered by the Diocese of Oakland. I went from making a pretty good salary
working in the hospital to nearly nothing per month, but somehow I always had money in my pocket. I continued tithing, but
I also had to pay car insurance and gas, and still there was enough. When I looked at the numbers it was impossible, but God
provided. People often say priests are unrealistic about money, especially when we ask hardworking people in the pews to
give to the parish, the Diocese or some other cause. But if my hunch about giving is right, how we handle our money and
how generous we are is actually a spiritual issue. If we believe God is calling us to walk in faith with him, will he not bring
the good work to completion? When our spirituality results in action, we are no longer in “wishful thinking mode” but
actually putting one foot in front of the other to follow Jesus. Literally. IHM pray for us. Fr. Jerry
obra a conclusión?
Literalmente. Ora por nosotros Fr. Jerry
