Gospel Acclamation
Nicene Creed
I believe in one God, the Father almighty, maker of heaven and
earth, of all things visible and invisible. I believe in one Lord Jesus
Christ, the Only Begotten Son of God, born of the Father before all
ages. God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God,
begotten, not made, consubstantial with the Father; through him all
things were made; For us men and for our salvation he came down
from heaven,
(all bow) and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary,
and became man.
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate, he suffered death
and was buried, and rose again on the third day in accordance with
the Scriptures. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right
hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living
and the dead and his kingdom will have no end. I believe in the
Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father
and the Son, who with the Father and the Son is adored and
glorified, who has spoken through the prophets. I believe in one,
holy, catholic and apostolic Church. I confess one baptism for the
forgiveness of sins and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead
and the life of the world to come. Amen.
Sanctus (Holy, Holy)
Holy, holy, holy Lord God of hosts.
Heav’n and earth are full of your glory.
Hosanna, hosanna, hosanna in the highest!
Hosanna, hosanna, hosanna in the highest!
Blessed is he who comes in the name of the
Lord. Hosanna...
Mystery of Faith
Preparation of the Gifts: Turn to Me
Amen
Agnus Dei (Lamb of God)
That All May Be One In Christ

Verses:
1. God, Creator of us all, you have called us each by name.
Many faces, some that are new, make us one in you.
2. God, you sent your only Son, to become the Savior of the world.
Feed us with the Bread of Life; make us one in Christ.
3. God, you breathe upon the earth. Send your Spirit into our lives.
Change our hearts to fashion anew the love we find in you.
Song of Praise: Increase Our Faith
Verses:
1. So I say to you: “ask, you will receive; seek and you will find.
Knock, it shall be opened to you.
2. Whoever asks, they shall receive; whoever seeks shall find.
Whoever knocks, the door will be opened.

4. As god has loved me so I have loved you. Go and live in my love.

Aclamación del Evangelio

Ordinario
Entrada: Somos Una Iglesia
Credo Niceno
la Virgen, y se hizo hombre;
Y por nuestra causa fue crucificado en tiempos de Poncio Pilato;

3. Tú que quitas el pecado del mundo, ten piedad de nosotros;
(a Estrofa 4)

Estribillo
Qué detalle, Señor, has tenido conmigo
qué detalle, Señor, has tenido conmigo.
Estrofas
2. Yo dejé casa y pueblo por seguir tu aventura.
Codo a codo contigo comencé a caminar.
¡Qué sosiego me inunda cunado oigo tu voz!
¡Qué emoción me estremece cunado escucho en
silencio tu palabra que aviva mi silencio interior!

Give and it will be given unto – IX
When we talk about sacrificial giving we run the risk of being misunderstood, and we have all heard or heard of
preachers who tell their poor to make a pledge from what they do not have and to go into debt as a way of getting God
to keep his promise and make them prosperous. I believe that is crazy; there is no magic pipeline from God that will
pour the long green stuff, or large amounts of dollars into your account, just because you put God to the test. Truly that
is tempting God and we are not to do it. The test I am saying which is appropriate is when we open our generosity and
our hearts toward God, it creates the environment for God to pour blessings upon us. In other words we do not give
what we do not have, and we can only be truly generous with what is our own. I recall a few years ago on Mission
Appeal Sunday we had some young seminarians from a religious community who challenged us to give $270.00 to the
poor with whom they worked. I had planned to put a check into the mission appeal 2nd collection, but not quite that
much, but when I opened my checkbook I realized that I could easily afford the $270.00. My reluctance came as I had
not planned to respond to that appeal with quite that amount of generosity. But it was something I could easily afford,
so I wrote that check. Blessings? Many. IHM pray for us. Fr. Jerry
Bendiciones? Muchas.
