The Weekly Minutarian
From DG Gary Gunter
I had the great pleasure of presenting the new Rotary Club of Lutz with their Club Charter this week!
Congratulations to a fine group of new Rotarians. Lutz is north of Tampa.
The four fabulous Lakeland Clubs announced their big Rotary Day featuring The Beach Boys in concert
on May 2! They are raising money for an amazing new mammoth playground in Lakeland. Many of us
have bought tickets already – just go to www.therotaryplayground.org for information and to purchase
tickets – prices are $69, $55 and $35. Join hundreds of your fellow Rotarians for a wonderful evening!
District Governor Elect Tom Wagner, District Trainer and DG Nominee Joyce Gunter, and PDG George
Robertson- Burnett held a terrific Pre-PETS training seminar for your Club Presidents-Elect Saturday.
They are working hard to get ready for the next Rotary year!
Have a great week!
Gary
