Sue Federinko is Senior Vice President of Glatfelter Healthcare Practice (GHP), a division Glatfelter Insurance Group (GIG) based in York, Pa. Sue is responsible for growing and managing the hospice, home healthcare, home aide, assisted living, skilled care and independent living book of business. She has extensive industry knowledge and expertise and works closely with customers and independent agents. An insurance professional for 34 years, Sue is an expert in managing everyday risks, with experience in claims, loss control and underwriting. She began her insurance career with USF&G as a policy typist and worked her way up to become a claims assistant and rater. Later, she served as a rater for Maryland Casualty, an underwriter for PHICO Insurance and a marketing representative for PSMLIC. In 2002, Sue joined Glatfelter Healthcare Practice as an underwriter and was promoted to Sales Executive in 2007. She holds a Certified Professional Insurance Agent (CPIA) designation. Like many of her fellow associates at Glatfelter, Sue is an active volunteer in her community. She was recognized in 2012 with the President’s Volunteer Service Award by the President’s Council on Service and Civic Participation.
