Estimada señorita Estela Pérez:
Desafortunadamente no podemos ofrecerle el trabajo de enfermera que
usted solicitó. Nosotros somos muy estrictos con la puntualidad y usted
llegó media hora tarde a la entrevista de trabajo.
Le aconsejamos que revise su currículum vitae, ya que una hoja escrita a
mano no es suficiente para demostrar sus habilidades y experiencia. Hay
expertos que pueden ayudarla a mejorarlo.
Además le sugerimos que apague su teléfono antes de entrar a la entrevista.
La persona encargada tiene mucho trabajo y no puede perder tiempo

La semana que viene es el cumpleaños de mi madre, he estado ahorrando dinero para
comprar su regalo pero no sé qué regalarle.
A mi madre le gustan las cosas útiles. Si le regalas flores, no está contenta. Ella
prefiere una planta que dure mucho tiempo. Pero al mismo tiempo es muy sentimental
y le gusta guardar cosas de recuerdo.
Pensé regalarle un vestido pero ella siempre se tiene que probar muchos vestidos antes
de encontrar uno que le guste.

EL DIARIO DE ANA
Cinco de enero:
¡Estoy ansiosa! Nuestra alumna de intercambio, Lola, llega en dos días. Ella
tiene la misma edad que yo. Su familia es grande comparada a la mía. Al fin
voy a tener una ‘hermana’. Ella vive en una finca con muchos animales. ¿Cómo
se va a sentir al vivir en un apartamento en la ciudad? ¡Yo solo tengo un gato!
Espero que no se aburra en Sídney.
Catorce de enero:
¡Ya ha pasado una semana y no la aguanto más! Lola nunca sonríe y pasa en
su habitación muchas horas. Ella no quiere salir conmigo. Además se queja que
hace mucho calor y que no le gusta como cocina mi madre. ¡Qué chica más
difícil!
Veinticinco de enero:
¡Qué fin de semana maravilloso! Hemos visitado una finca en el campo. Lola se
sintió muy bien en la finca. Caminamos y le dimos de comer a muchos animales.
Estoy contenta que el aire fresco y la tranquilidad la ayudaron para no extrañar
