Signature Gathering
to Overturn AB 2x-15 (Physician Assisted Suicide)
Faith Formation
No sessions on the upcoming weeks: week of December
20th and the week of December 27th. Classes resume

Christmas Mass Times
Christmas Mass times will be as follows:

Bishop Steven Blaire and the California bishops elected
to allow a signature gathering to overturn AB 2x-15
(Physician Assisted Suicide). We will have a signature
gathering after all Masses on the weekend of December
19th and 20th, 2015. All petitions must be received by
December 28th, to qualify for the November 2016 Ballot.
California will step over a moral and ethical precipice
unless this law (AB 2x-15) is overturned. This “Travesty
of compassion” is such a danger to so many vulnerable
people and so fundamentally undermines the physicianpatient relationship that the people of California deserve
to have the final say on whether this law is what they
want.

quiere.

St. Anthony’s Giving Tree
It’s that time of year again, when we
prepare our hearts for the coming of
our Lord. One way that we can do
this is to help others through our Giving Tree. Please pick a card with a
printed age & gender off the Christmas tree in the vestibule, then bring
your unwrapped gift to the parish
office by December 21st, and we will
make sure that is delivered to someone who needs it this holiday season. For battery operated toys please include the proper size batteries. Thank
you for your generosity.
Prayer Shawl Ministry
If someone would like to request a shawl (for ladies) or
lap robe (for men), please contact Kathleen Gomes at

not just for those who are ill; they are also given out to
celebrate a special occasion such as an anniversary. A
message of love and caring comes with each shawl or lap

giver as well as the recipient.
