BAPTISM
The baptism of children of registered
parishioners is celebrated on the last Sunday of
each month. Baptisms are not celebrated during
the season of Lent. Parents must attend a prior
formation session and a rehearsal.
ANOINTING OF THE SICK
This sacrament is celebrated once a year during
weekend Masses and is available at other times
on request.
PASTORAL CARE OF THE SICK
Our Parish Care Givers bring the Eucharist to
those who are sick in hospitals, nursing homes
or in their own residences.
MARRIAGE
Couples contemplating this sacrament must
contact the Parish office at least 6 months prior
to their desired wedding date.

The commitment of the Church in poor dioceses across the country is not
without challenge, as many of the parishes in these mission dioceses are
unable to support their core ministries. Many parishes are also separated
by long distances or rough terrain and face the realities of poverty and
priest shortages.
Sustaining pastoral work in poorer dioceses in the United States is made
possible through our support of the Catholic Home Missions Appeal.
This Appeal supports essential pastoral outreach in home mission
dioceses: evangelization, seminary formation, aid to parishes, and lay
ministry training.
Please be generous in the Catholic Home Missions Appeal and help

Justice Corner
Repentance & Forgiveness
Today’s readings all speak about “repentance and the
forgiveness of sins.” We bask in the joy of Easter knowing
that we have been forgiven. It is good to remember that
God’s gift of forgiveness requires us to be merciful and
forgiving towards others.
Jesus taught us to pray,
“Forgive us our sins as we forgive those
who sin against us.”
This week, think about people who have offended you and
choose to forgiven them. If the pain of their offense is too
great, pray for the grace to forgive. Then pray daily for God
to bless that person abundantly. Your prayers have the
power to heal you, and prevent you becoming hateful.
The world needs our prayers too. Let us pray for those who
persecute the innocent, pray for the grace to sow love
instead of hatred, and pray that God will touch the hearts of
all who go about the world doing violence and evil.

Third Sunday of Easter:
