The need for a strong hospital voice in Tennessee
has never been more important than it is today.
Ensuring the future of our hospitals while
insuring the patients we serve requires us to be a
united front in Nashville.
With the vital issues of this year in mind, the
Tennessee Hospital Association’s Friends of THA
PAC (political action committee) has set a goal to
raise $125,000. These funds are contributed to
state legislators who are sensitive to the healthcare
issues that are top priorities for Tennessee hospitals
and their patients.
Contributing to Friends of THA allows hospitals
across the state to have a singular, powerful voice
on Capitol Hill. This gives us the greatest chance for
success and improves the ability of the association
and its members to develop meaningful working
relationships with legislators.
There simply is too much at stake in 2015 for
individual hospitals to conquer alone.

Anyone can contribute to Friends of THA - board
members, executive staff, volunteers, physicians and
other hospital employees are all encouraged to
participate. The PAC also can accept contributions
from corporations, so consider asking your vendors
to make a contribution in support of the continued
success of the institutions they serve.
