Operates multi-line telephone system to answer incoming calls and directs callers to appropriate
personnel as well. Provides general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related
tasks. The receptionist will be responsible for answering incoming calls, directing calls to
appropriate associates, mail distribution, flow of correspondence, requisition of supplies as well as
additional clerical duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Attend to the main telephone switchboard in a professional manner.
• Greets and directs visitors to the company.
• Maintain visitor sign-in and records.
• Answers telephones and directs the caller to the appropriate personnel and must be willing to
transfer a call to voice mailbox.
• Provides callers with information such as company address, directions to the company location,
company fax numbers, company website, and other related information.
• Takes and retrieve messages for various personnel.
• Receives, sorts and forwards incoming mail. Maintains and routes publications.
• Coordinates the pick-up and delivery of express mail services (FedEx, UPS, etc.)
• Performs all tasks as assigned by other executive managers as needed.
Education and Qualifications:
• Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) and Associate’s Degree is preferred.
• 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education
and experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Possess exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given

Now hiring Head Counselors for our summer program. These positions are all seasonal and run
from June 2 through August 29. They have seasonal part time and seasonal full time positions
available.KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
-Directly supervise a group of children, making the safety and well-being of all campers a top
priority. This involves staying with your group at all times unless another staff member has relieved
you for any necessary reason.
-Follow and facilitate all day camp objectives, rules, policies and procedures.
-Encourage participation in any and all activities appropriate to those children in your assigned
group. This includes such things as music & drama classes, Bible class, recreation class, arts &
crafts and any other activity.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Desire to work with children aged 5 to 14.
-Be at least 18 years of age.
-Minimum of 1 to 2 years prior experience in working with children.
-Willingness to work as part of a ministry team with other staff members
-Must have or be able to obtain First Aid/CPR/AED certification within the first 30 days of
employment.
-Must have or be able to obtain a Chauffeur License.
-High school diploma or GED equivalency.
-Must be able to read, write and communicate in English. Ability to speak Spanish desired.
-Successfully complete Safe From Harm training as established by The Salvation Army and become
certified as a Safe From Harm Train the Trainer.
-Before hire, must pass a thorough background check.

assist in the implementation of the day camp program.
Bay Cliff Health Camp

Each summer Tall Turf hires teens ages 14-17 to participate in our program. The leadership
program is an intensive 8-week program designed to help teens develop their leadership skills and
become more involved in their communities. To lead this program, Tall Turf hires two adults as
Mentors to serve under the Director of Programs. These individuals will maintain daily individual
contact with all Leader In Training (LIT) participants. They will guide the LITs in an understanding of
leadership, reconciliation, service, goal setting, children, the camp, and help with the development of
their spiritual lives. This program takes place primarily at our Grand Rapids, MI office. Desired
Qualifications: Mentors must be at least 21 years of age and be eligible for a Michigan Chauffeurs

at Camp Tall Turf! Camp Tall Turf is a culturally diverse and inclusive Christian camp located in
Walkerville, MI. Their mission is to equip youth for lives of reconciliation in God's world. In addition
to counselors, they are also looking to hire support staff members. Support staff members provide
counselors with additional help in specific areas and activities. These positions include:
Food Service Staff: Under the direction of the Food Service Coordinator, Food Service Staff are
responsible for all food preparation and service in the dining hall, as well as daily upkeep of dining
hall area and participating in camp activities as needed.
Adventure
Programming Director: This individual is responsible for the coordination and development of the
challenge course program and all adventure activities. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age
with a Michigan Chauffeur’s License and prior experience in leading groups in outdoor and
experiential education.
Naturalist: The Naturalist serves as caretaker of
the Nature Center and is responsible for preparing age appropriate activities, as well as supervising
and interacting with campers. The Naturalist should have some experience and knowledge in
developing nature programs and show love for all of God’s creatures.
Waterfront Director: The Waterfront Director is responsible for all aspects of the waterfront including
training staff on waterfront safety, planning and supervising camper activities, as well as daily
cleaning and maintenance of equipment. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age and have or
be willing to obtain certifications in CPR for the Professional Rescuer, Lifeguard training, Waterfront
Lifeguard, and Lifeguard Management.
Barn Specialist:
The Barn Specialist is responsible for the overall care and upkeep of the barn and its inhabitants.
They are responsible for feeding and tending to the animals, organizing and cleaning the barn, and
facilitating barn activities for campers.
Desired Qualifications: Unless otherwise indicated, applicants must be
at least 18 years of age and eligible to work in the United States for all positions. Some experience

with special needs located on 202 beautiful acres of countryside in Michigan's thumb. They offer
programs in challenge education, sports & recreaction, creative arts, horseback riding, outdoor
education, barn & garden, primitive camping, boating, swimming and fishing. Open positions include 2,000 + meals & lodging
cabin counselors, lead counselors, program instructors, outpost counselors and outpost coordinator.
