The Childrens Directorate believes that Kirklees children and
young people matter. The service areas are committed to
working with our partners to deliver the five outcomes of the
Every Child Matters framework: being healthy, staying safe,
enjoying and achieving, making a positive contribution and
achieving economic wellbeing. The Childrens Directorate

Protection Service.
The Service operates from 9.00am to 9.00pm across 7 days a

Through a joint Health and Social Care approach to targeting
patients in Accident & Emergency (A&E) Departments more
people will have their acute health and social care needs
managed within primary care and will avoid emergency and
non-elective admissions by the provision of interim Health and
Social Care Services at the point of entry.
The Service will offer a quick response which will lead to people
being returned home with support tailored to their needs and

rather than an acute hospital bed. You will be working with

either use a Council vehicle or your own car.
You will work as part of the Early Intervention and Targeted
Support Service which provides a range of integrated services

includes a range of universal and targeted support across the
pre-birth to 19 years age range.
This role is integral to the production of high quality
performance data and meaningful management information to
inform service delivery and provide evidence for inspection
regimes. Excellent communication skills are key, as the role
also involves supporting staff to access, understand and make
effective use of data and information relating to families
accessing or referred for services.
You need to hold an advanced GNVQ or A Level in Data
Management (or related areas e.g. ICT) or demonstrate the
ability to work at that level. You must have the ability to query
and extract data from complex databases, along with up-to-date
knowledge of MS Excel in order to manipulate the data to
produce accessible performance and management information.
You also need to have experience of developing strategies to
address data quality and data integrity.
