Win Bizz with Malaysia Airlines Contest - Terms & Conditions 1. The Win Bizz with Malaysia Airlines Contest (“Contest”) is organized by Malaysian Airline System Berhad (“MAS”) and will run from 8:00am (Malaysia local time) on 4 February 2015 to 11.59pm (Malaysia local time) on 15 February 2015 (“Contest Period"). 2. The following persons shall NOT be eligible to participate in the Contest:a. Permanent and/or temporary staff or employees of MAS (including its subsidiaries within the Malaysia Airlines Group and related companies) and their immediate family members; and b. Representatives, business partners and/or agents (including advertising and promotion agents) of MAS. 3. The Contest is open to all Malaysian citizens aged 18 years and above who hold a valid and MAS-operated flight booking(s) fully purchased from any one of MAS’ distribution channels during the Contest Period (“Eligible Participants”). MAS distribution channels are online booking at www.malaysiaairlines.com, MAS ticketing offices, MAS Call Centre, MH mobile and MAS authorized travel agents. 4. Eligible Participants may log onto MAS’s website at www.malaysiaairlines.com to enter the Contest during the Contest Period. Eligible Participants must not utilize the flight booking(s) purchased at the time they enter the Contest. 5. The mechanics of the contest are as follows: To enter, individuals must then complete the following steps during the Competition Period: i) Visit http://www.malaysiaairlines.com/my/en.html and follow the prompts to the Competition entry page; ii) input all of the requested details including their name, valid email address, telephone number, ticket number purchased and a 500 character or less answer to the featured promotional question; and iii) Submit the fully completed entry form. 6. Only one (1) entry is permitted per ticket number. 7. Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid. 8. The Contest is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the Winners. Each entry shall be individually judged based on the literary and creative merit of the answer submitted to the promotional question. 9. The prize for the winners of the Contest are as follows: a. Grand Prize: All-inclusive return Business Class flight tickets for two (2) from Kuala Lumpur to Hong Kong. b. Runner Up: All-inclusive return Business Class flight tickets for two (2) from Kuala Lumpur to Ho Chi Minh City. 10. The Prizes exclude transfer and any other costs of a personal nature not specifically stated in these Terms and Conditions. However, the standard excess baggage charges are applicable. 11. The Prizes shall be subject to MAS’s General Conditions of Carriage. 12. One (1) valid MAS-operated flight booking purchase shall entitle the Eligible Participant to one (1) Contest entry only. To submit multiple entries, Eligible Participants must possess separate and valid MAS-operated flight booking purchases. Duplicate or invalid entries will be disqualified automatically 13. By joining this Contest, it is deemed that Eligible Participants have read and have agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Any breach of these Terms and Conditions may result in forfeiture of any of the Prizes at MAS’s absolute discretion. 14. The Winner will be notified by email (“Email Notification”) within 30 days from 16 Feb 2015 or such other date as decided by MAS at its absolute discretion. The Email Notification will include instructions on how to claim the Prize. 15. The Winner must confirm receipt of the Email Notification from MAS within seven (7) days. Failure to do so shall entitle MAS at its sole discretion to select another Eligible Participant as the alternate winner. 16. Validity of the Prizes is six (6) months from the date of the announcement of the Winner. Failure to travel within this period will result in forfeiture of the Prizes and the Winner will have no claim whatsoever against MAS, its agents or employees. 17. MAS is entitled to replace the Prize with any other prize of similar value at any time without any prior notice. 18. The Prize cannot be exchanged or sold for cash and are non-transferable to any other person. 19. Once the Winner has made a booking with the Prize, the booking cannot be changed. 20. Decision on matters relating to the Contest (including but not limited to selection of the Winner) shall be final and conclusive and no correspondence, appeal or enquiry will be entertained. 21. As a condition of entering this Competition, each entrant provides consent to MAS to use their personal details and Entrants consent to MAS using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this Competition (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by MAS unless otherwise advised by the Entrant. 22. MAS reserves the right, at its sole and absolute discretion, to disqualify any Eligible Participant and/or revoke or forfeit the Prize at any stage of the Contest if:(a) the criteria under Section 3 above is not met; or (b) the Terms and Conditions stipulated herein are not fully complied with; or (c) MAS has reason to believe that such Eligible Participant has attempted to undermine the operation of the Contest in any way whatsoever, including but not limited to fraud, cheating or deception. 23. The Terms and Conditions of the Contest shall be construed, governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. 24. All rights and privileges herein granted to MAS are irrevocable and not subjected to rescission, restraint or injunction under any and all circumstances. Under no circumstances shall the Eligible Participants have the right to injunctive relief or to restrain or otherwise interfere with the organization of the Contest, the production, distribution, exhibition and/or exploitation of the Contest and/or any product based on and/or derived from the Contest. 25. All personal data collected will only be used for the purposes in connection with the Contest only. 26. MAS reserves the right at its absolute discretion to vary, delete or add to any of these Terms and Conditions without any prior notice. 27. These Terms and Conditions will prevail over any inconsistent terms, conditions, provisions or representations contained in any other promotional materials advertising the Contest. 28. The main language of the Terms and Conditions shall be the English language. Any translation to any other language than English shall be for convenience only. 29. By virtue of acceptance of the Prize, the Winner signifies his/her absolute and unconditional acceptance and agreement to all the Terms & Conditions stipulated herein. 30. MAS reserves the right to cancel, terminate or suspend the Contest without any prior notice. For the avoidance of doubt, any cancellation, termination or suspension by MAS of the Contest shall not entitle the Eligible Participants to any claim or compensation against MAS, its agents and employees for any and all losses or damages suffered or incurred by the Eligible Participants as a direct or an indirect result of the act of cancellation, termination or suspension thereof. 31. MAS shall not be liable for any disruption to the Contest, whether due to technical problems or otherwise, which is beyond its reasonable control. In the event of disruption to the Contest, reasonable efforts shall be used to remedy the disruption and resume the Contest on a fair and equitable basis to the Eligible Participants. 32. MAS, its agents and employees shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential losses) or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with or arising from either participation in this Contest or with any of the prizes offered or forfeited.
