@ Willamette High School
Child Center Community
Health Worker, Lezlee Craven,
has begun bringing Wellness
ser vices to the students of
Willamette High School. She is
there on a regular basis to
provide wellness check-ins with
students to help them receive
needed resources. Many of
these kids are living in unstable
situations and have inconsistent
family involvement, and many
are homeless or unaccompanied
youth.

The Child Center offers 24-hour Intake and
Mental Health Assessment, providing around
the clock services for children and youth.
Therapists are on call to assist in enrollment,
assessment or scheduling an appointment at
the family’s convenience.

work together to respond to over
100 Crisis phone calls per month
concerning children in a mental
health crisis. Responders consult
over the phone or go out to the site
to assist the child/youth with this
stressful event. Crisis Response

Collaborative Problem Solving Parenting Classes
Now in Spanish!
The Child Center is excited to
annouce an amazing oportunity.
Because of a grant from
LaneKids, we are currently
working on translating the
curriculum for our Collaborative
Problem Solving parenting
education groups into Spanish.
We will be offering 2 sessions of
the Spanish classes this spring!
Times and locations to be
decided.
The Collaborative Problem
Solving model strengthens the
capacity of parents to care for
their children in ways that
promote positive relationships
and builds necessary skills for
