WELCOME TO Y SUMMER DAY CAMPS!
Dear Camp Families,
I’m thrilled that you are considering our camps for your child this summer. I have had the privilege of working with our day
camps for over 20 years now. Our camps are filled with strong summer time traditions that bring children and staff back year
after year. Our dynamic staff bring new exciting events and themes each year that keep things fresh and fun for all. Last year
we hosted our first summer mudder run at Camp Carr. Sports Camp added the new GAGA Pit and South Camp added field trips
to each week in addition to their weekly trip to Nockamixon pools. Of course our returning campers know that the we have
a some BIG annual events in the summer of great competitive fun between our own camps and now going on its third year our
camp basketball game against Somerset YMCA (Which we won last year and intend on winning again this year!).
Whether you choose Sports Camp, Camp Carr, or South Camp I am confident that your child and our camper will find that camp
is filled with new discoveries, friends, adventures, laughter and great memories that will last a lifetime.
Warm Regards,
Kristin Heimall, Senior Program Director

Please list all persons authorized to pick up your child. Parents or guardian names must be included on this list. You will be
given pick up cards to distribute to everyone on this list, which must be presented when picking up your child. In emergency
situations only, parent/guardian may give verbal and/or written permission for an individual, who is not on this list, to pick up
child. No child will be released without a pick up card or emergency verbal/written permission. NO exceptions will be made to
this policy. This is done for the safety of your child. Please make sure that the individuals on this list are aware that they may
be called in an emergency to pick up your child. You are welcome to add or to delete from this list at any time, however you
will be responsible for retrieving any invalid cards. Please indicate if a non-custodial parent has limits on visitation or pick up.
If a non-custodial parent has been denied visitation or has limited visitation by court order, a copy of the order must be given
to the YMCA and kept on file at program.
