Morris Animal Refuge intends to raise funds at the Fur Ball for vital programs that
provide a full range of preventative, protective and adoption services for Greater
Philadelphia’s abused, neglected and abandoned animals.

Organization Profile
Morris Animal Refuge, an open admission shelter, has been committed to the
well-being of homeless, abandoned and abused animals since 1874. Morris
Animal Refuge services include the following:
The LifeSaver Fund Created to provide medical attention to badly abused
and injured animals giving them a chance to find a welcoming home.
The Foster Program Foster homes are an essential part of rescuing. With each
foster home it allows us to save another animal in need.
The Adoption Program Over the years Morris has successfully placed
thousands of animals in loving homes.
The Low Cost Spay and Neutering Program Morris provides low-cost certificates
for spay or neutering to those pet owners who can not otherwise afford these
procedures.
