Centenary FACT 2: In the summer of 1914-1915 Fr Cashman (Cunnamulla Parish Priest) went to All
Hallows in Brisbane. He sat outside the Reverend Mother’s office and smoked his pipe until she agreed to send
some sisters with him to start a Catholic school in Cunnamulla.

The Sacred Heart Twilight Swimming Carnival will will be available in the staffroom throughout the

school shirts and green shorts/skorts. Students are
allowed to wear thongs or sandals. Please ensure
your child’s gear is clearly labelled. All students are
expected to attend as they will all have a

Next Monday night, 9th February, is Parent
Information Night. This is a great opportunity for
parents to meet your child’s teacher/s and ask
questions about what is happening in class
throughout the year.
Homework Centre starts this week and is held on
a Tuesday and Thursday from 3pm-3:45pm.
Homework centre will be run by the teachers.
A reminder that all swimming lessons begin this

The Year 6 students will be going on camp this year so

Buffet Service Required for St Catherine’s / Sacred
Heart Centenary Dinner
St Catherine’s/ Sacred Heart Centenary Committee
are looking for any interested parties who would like
to provide the buffet service for our Centenary
Dinner. The job would entail replenishing food,
collecting plates, cleaning up etc. Your service would
be required from 5– 10pm. The dinner will be held
on Saturday 14th March 2015. If anyone is interested
