Fiscal Year programming is on a July 1 basis with FY2014 beginning July 1, 2013. Projects must be included in the local TIP and the State TIP to be eligible for federal funding. Bel-O-Mar is currently accepting public comments regarding the projects described below. As requested by the Ohio Department of Transportation, the following revisions are proposed for Belmont County: • A project to install a traffic signal and widening of the WB exit ramp to two lanes at the intersection of WB IR70 ramp and SR149 would be added to the program. The estimated cost of the project is $550,000 and it will be programmed for FY2016. • The cost of replacing the existing superstructure of two bridges on I-70 at US40/CR100 Interchange would be revised from $12,115,000 to $13,789,000. This project is programmed for FY2015. As requested by the City of St. Clairsville/ODOT: • The cost of a resurfacing project on National Road (US40) in St. Clairsville would be revised from the original cost of $1,152,000 to $1,409,000. As requested by West Virginia Department of Transportation, the following revisions are proposed for Ohio and Marshall Counties: • A resurfacing project on GC&P Road (CR7) from 0.76 miles west of Pogues Run Rd. (CR13) to 0.20 mile west of Table Rock Lane (CR5) would be added. Project is scheduled for FY2015 and will cost $625,000. • A resurfacing project on National Rd (US40) from Valley Grove Rd. (CR40/4) to 0.33 miles east of Atkinson Crossing (CR45) would be added. Project cost is $800,000 and it will be programmed for FY2015. • A bridge overlay project on US250 bridge north of Chapel Road (CR6) would be added for FY2016. Project cost is $3,250,000. In Marshall County: • A resurfacing/widen project on US250 (Cameron Rd.) 0.81 miles south of CR25/2 to 0.77 miles north of CR25 would be moved from FY2014 to FY2015. The scope of the project is also changed and the new cost is $2,600,000. A public comment period regarding the proposed Transportation Improvement Program revision extends through February 17, 2015.
