All athletes, coaches, referees or officials from each federation must stay in the official hotel
during the championship. If athletes, coaches, referees or officials do not stay in the official hotel
during the championship, they will be obliged to pay an administration fee of € 100 per person to the
organizer. Failure to comply will have the effect that they will not receive accreditation and will
be excluded from that championship (By-Laws 105.4.4).

Drug testing:
Drug testing will be carried out at the event.
Flags:
Nations are to bring their own flags.
Multiple Class Entry:
A lifter may not enter in more than one designated class – Example: M3 lifter cannot enter as M3, M2, M1, Open
Nation Entry:
Each nation is allowed a maximum of eight competitors spread throughout the range of the eight bodyweight
categories for men and seven competitors throughout the range of seven bodyweight categories for women.
Junior and Sub-Junior nine for men and eight for women. There must not be more than two competitors from any
one nation in any particular bodyweight category.
Each nation is allowed a maximum of five alternates or reserves. To take part in the competition they must been
nominated 60 days before the date of the championships on the preliminary nomination with the bodyweight
categories and best totals achieved at National or international championships during the last 12 months.
Medals:
Medals will be presented at the conclusion of each session. Medals will be presented to lifters who achieve a
placing in each weight class for 1st, 2nd and 3rd, places; medals will also be presented for individual best lifts for
each category. Lifters must wear their nation tracksuit and sport shoes for the presentation otherwise they cannot
receive their medal.
Records:
Commonwealth Records, Regional Records, and World Records may be set
Scales:
Scales will be available at the venue in the warm up area; you must be wearing your security pass to access this
area. Scales will also be available at the official hotel.
Competition shirts:
Competition t-shirts will be on sale at the venue on the day.

Preliminary Nominations:
Due: September 30, 2015
Preliminary nomination forms must be received by the meet secretary no later than 60 days before the date of the
Championship. (Technical Rules Page 5 Para 7.)
Final Nominations:
Due: November 9, 2015
Final nominations must be submitted no later than 21 days before the date of the Championship and must include
only names from the preliminary nomination (i.e. only lifters from the preliminary nomination can be replaced by a
substitute. No new nominations will be accepted).
At the Technical meeting you can only delete athletes from your final nomination, no more changes by weight
class of any athlete is possible. The final nomination is valid for the competition. Changes will occur to the time
table of events when lifter numbers are confirmed. All lifters will be advised of any changes prior to the event.

Security:
Security ID passes will be issued to all lifters and coaches at the technical meeting. All lifters, coaches and officials
are required to wear the security passes in the restricted areas at the venue.
