FAITH-BASED UNIVERSITIES from 17 states are offering the 17th Annual Midwest College Expo Saturday, February 28 from 9:30am-2pm at
Colonial Presbyterian Church 9500 Wornall Road. Free 45-minute mini-seminars will be available.
STAND UP BLUE SPRINGS Kid’s Club event needs 8-10 individuals who would like to volunteer for community service credit to assist with
stations geared toward dental hygiene. This will be a good opportunity for a student interested in dentistry or dental hygiene, or nutrition.
This event will be held on Saturday, February 21 from 1-4. Any volunteers would probably need to be at Hy-Vee by 12:30. Please see the
Counseling office to sign up.
JOHNSON & WALES UNIVERSITY is holding an Admissions Information Event on Monday, February 23 at 7pm in Overland Park, KS. This is a

MISSOURI FINE ARTS ACADEMY is set for June 7-27. This will be an exciting three week adventure for Missouri’s young artists who are
presently high school sophomores and juniors. Actors, dancers, musicians, visual artists, and creative writers who have a passion for and
commitment to their art are encouraged to apply for this opportunity to create a cultural community and explore the arts through
interdisciplinary classes, performances, workshops, and extracurricular activities. Student applications accepted until March 6. The online

MU is offering a summer science opportunity for students in chemistry and biochemistry. The Chemistry Immersion Program (CHIP) is a
two-week program at the University of MO in Columbia. CHIP teachers will teach the chemistry and biology concepts and laboratories to
