Forth Sunday in Ordinary Time
Joe Faraci
The Parish along with the family would like to
take this time to thank everyone that came out
to Joe’s Memorial Mass. The mass was officiated by Most Rev. Bishop Paul Bootkowski and
was attended by many of Joe’s friends, family
and colleagues. The homily was very heartwarming and described Joe to a tee. We all
greatly appreciate the outpouring of love and support
shown to not only the family but also the Parish Joe loved
so much. This was our way to honor our long time parishioner, trustee and friend. God Bless you Joe and may you
rest in eternal peace.

Finishing in the hall where the special day was celebrated

of the Diocese of Metuchen, will be presented
the St. John Neumann Award at the 2015 Catholic School Education Dinner being held on April
14th at the Hyatt Regency in New Brunswick.

Parochial School System,” is given to an individual who has demonstrated extraordinary leadership, commitment and dedication to promoting
Catholic school education in the Diocese of
Metuchen.
“Bishop Bootkoski has made Catholic schools a
priority in the diocese and continues to be a
strong proponent,” said Rev. Msgr. Michael J.
Corona, PA, KCHS, executive director of the
diocesan Department of Education. “Our bishop
is deserving of this honor which is also an expression of our gratitude for his ongoing support
for the teachers, administrators, and most importantly the children attending our Catholic
schools.”

Education Scholarship Fund which provides tuition assistance for low-income families whose

St. Lucy
There was no end to Lucy’s trust:
“Even if everyone on Earth and all
the demons of hell persecuted me
and wanted to destroy me, still I’d
firmly trust that God would never
abandon me and that He would give
me the strength to overcome. He
cannot cease to be compassionate.” Lucy was
deeply rooted in the love of God and her hope
never wavered: “Even if everyone disappointed
me and I found myself rejected and abandoned
by all my friends and relatives, I’d trust my God
would never fail me. He cannot cease to be a father to me.”

“Brothers and sisters: I should like you to be free of
anxieties.” – 1 Corinthians 7:32
How much anxiety do we bring upon ourselves by
constantly worrying about not having enough or attaining more things? God won’t necessarily give
you everything you want, but He will provide everything you need. Try this – use the word “pray” instead of the word “worry” in the future.
