DEXTRIA "DEX" SAPP PROMOTED TO FITNESS DIRECTOR
Dextria Sapp
City Club is proud to announce that Dextria “Dex” Sapp has been promoted to Director of Fitness.
Dextria has been with City Club for 8+ years, sharing her passion and inspiration to Members and
Guests, leading them to meet their personal fitness goals through personal training, meal coaching, and
her specialty camp named DEXercise with Dex! Dextria will be a great asset in this new position with
all of her talents and expertise that she brings to the table. She, as well as City Club, are excited for her
to take on this new role.
Dex’s list of accomplishments is extensive over her 10+ years in the industry. She received her B.S. in Exercise Science
from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and is currently in pursuit of her Master’s Degree. She is NationallyAccredited as a Personal Trainer by The Cooper Institute of Aerobic Research. She holds advanced certifications from
the American Council on Exercise: Aerobics Instructor; Aerobics & Fitness Association of America: Personal Trainer &
Aerobics Instructor; The Cooper Institute: Biomechanics of Resistance Training; The Cooper Institute: Physical Fitness
Specialist; TRX Suspension Training: Level I; Intro to Kettlebell Training; and CPR & First Aid Instructor.
Dextria is also very accomplished in her career and include the below recognition and awards:

This is a Level 4 advanced junior tournament for those juniors living
in Louisiana. Come out and watch great junior tennis players. Contact Chad Hebert

closed to members during this tournament.
WOMEN'S BEGINNER TENNIS CLASS
FEBRUARY 27 - MAY 1, FRIDAYS 9:30-11:00 AM
City Club Tennis Staff welcomes you to begin your tennis journey by starting the
right way. Make new friends while learning the fundamentals. You will start playing
immediately, learn tennis terminology, and experience the latest techniques to ensure
success. We help you gain entry into League Play or Inter-Club Play. Cost for the

THE ATCHAFALAYA TENNIS TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS - MARCH 13-15
There will be a total of 6 People Per Team (Double Teams Only). First Match Starts at 4 PM on Friday, March 13
Levels welcome include: Ladies: 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5 and Up and Men: 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5 and Up. There will be a 3
Match Guarantee (Weather Permitting/Defaults Count as Match). Teams must play in the divison of their highest ranked
player. (Ex: Teams with five 3.5 players and one 4.0 player, must play in the 4.0 division). ADULTS ONLY WEEKEND!
The cost Per Player is $100 and Non-player meal tickets are available at $60 per person. The Carriage House Hotel will
have special rates available for those needing accommodations. The tournament includes: Prizes for Division Winners
Friday Night Crawfish Boil (if available), Beer, Soft Drinks and Powerade provided all weekend, Continental Breakfast and
Lunch provided Saturday and Sunday, Saturday Night Players Party complete with Food, Music, and Dancing in the City
