Fr. Bill Ameche reports that he is feeling well after his
full knee replacement. He will continue to recuperate
and do physical therapy in northern California. With
God’s grace, he should be back with us in late
February. With a new hip and new knee, his wheels
should be rolling fine.

We’ll have the church open from 9 AM until 5 PM on
this Thursday, January 22 to pray for an end to
abortions and for a deeper appreciation for life in our
country. This anniversary marks the 42nd anniversary of
the decision that legalized almost all abortions in the
United States. Come join us for a moment or two as
we pray before the Blessed Sacrament.

El programa Fe en Acción brinda clases
educativas y gratuitas sobre los tipos de cáncer,
su prevención y recursos en la comunidad los

Laura Zacarías o los jueves a las 8:30 am en el
Salón Tepeyac con Velma Calvario.
La Sociedad Miguel Agustín Pro estará en la
oficina parroquial para ayudar a los feligreses de
nuestra parroquia que estén pasando por momentos
difíciles. Estaremos aceptando solicitudes los
lunes y miercoles a partir de las 5:00 pm. "La
Divina Providencia nos invita a ejercer nuestra fe,
esperanza y caridad."

The first grade at Our Lady’s School went
to Mission Trails Regional Park. They
went on a hike with the park ranger and
learned all about the animals native to the
area. Most of the animals were not seen,
but the ranger taught them how to look for clues to
discover what animals were there earlier in the day.
The students also learned about the Kumeyaay
Nation and their history. The first graders had a
wonderful time enjoying God’s creation.
El primer de Our Lady’s fue al Parque Regional de
Mission Trails. Tuvieron una caminata con el guardaparques y aprendieron todo sobre los animales nativos
de la región. La mayoría de los animales no fueron
vistos, pero el oficial les enseñó pistas para descubrir
cuáles animales habían estado allí más temprano. Los
estudiantes también aprendieron sobre la Nación
Kumeyaay y su historia. Los estudiantes se divirtieron
mucho disfrutando de la creación de Dios.
