We know that Baptism unites us with Christ in his
dying and rising. We know that because of our union
with him, we are God’s beloved daughters and sons in
the Son. And besides all this, because Christ is our life
through Baptism, something else happens. He sets us
free from the two most enslaving and burdensome
realities of our lives. He frees us from sin and death.
Sin entraps us, usually within ourselves. And on our
own, we cannot break free. Death and the impending
sense of doom and loss it brings seem to box us into
the narrow confines of our very short earthly lives.
Baptism loosens the grip of sin through forgiveness,
and it loosens the grip of death through new and
eternal life in Christ Jesus. We are free to be who we
really and truly are—the children of God.

Sabemos que el Bautismo nos une a Cristo en su
muerte y Resurrección. Sabemos que por nuestra unión
con él, somos hijas e hijos queridos en el Hijo. Y más allá

.Documental
40, which coincides with the 40th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, highlights
well-reasoned and secular arguments against abortion and investigates
the effects of abortion in our nation over the last 40 years. The film was
an Official Entry in the John Paul II International Film festival in Miami,
Florida, and the ecumenical Arcangel Film Festival in San Gabriel,
California. 40 gives voice to both sides fairly and lets women speak for
themselves through experience on the reasons for their firm convictions
about abortion. The film also addresses some of the strongest arguments
for the pro-choice position, and provides heartfelt testimonies from post
abortive women and men. The film captures the impact of abortion on
women, men, families and society in an exquisite encounter with human
dignity. It also showcases the annual March for Life and the youth as the

TWC is a Crisis Pregnancy Center where girls come when they are confused, worried or afraid about their pregnancy. So
many of the women that come to TWC are seeking to abort their babies. However, a er mee ng with counselors at TWC,
the pregnant moms learn that they have be er op ons besides abor on and they realize there is help for them. Our parish is par cipa ng in the Baby Bo le Project. Baby bo les were distributed last weekend in which you may put your spare
change in it and return it in 3 to 4 weeks to the parish that would be wonderful.
TWC provides Emo onal Support & Material assistance.
They provide over $1,000,000 in material assistance and goods every year – free of charge.
They have saved 37,000+ babies in 30 years but they need help
