Welcome to the 2015 Summer Soccer Camp Season! I invite you to join the fun
and learn the game of soccer in a professionally challenging environment. Train
“Like the Pros” at one of our Residential Camp Programs held at Mount St.
Mary’s University this summer. We have proven player development programs
that are age appropriate for boys and girls and will prepare players of all ages
for higher levels of competition. Through positive reinforcement from our
experienced staff, we will increase individual players’ skill levels and build a
sense of teamwork, friendship and fair play to enrich each individual’s total
soccer experience.
I look forward to working with each player to accomplish our camp’s mission, to
provide a demanding week of soccer to all players in a fun-filled, professional
learning environment. My staff and I look forward to seeing you at camp!

Camp Philosophy
These residential camps are designed to teach
each player how to fully reach his or her potential
through a demanding week of functional training
exercises that teach individual techniques, skills
and tactics. Each evening, exhibition matches
will challenge players in a competitive environment. This camp will prepare players for higher
levels of competition.
Mount St. Mary’s University features 10 full-size
soccer fields and Waldron Family Stadium. The
camp has access to an Olympic size indoor
swimming pool and the Knott Athletic recreation
complex– one of the top facilities in the country.

Camp Philosophy
The High School Team Camp is designed to provide each attending high school team with a
demanding week of soccer to enhance players’ individual skill while building teamwork and team
concepts. Each evening, matches will be played that challenge all teams in a competitive environment
to prepare players both physically and socially for their upcoming fall season. The camp is designed
to closely replicate the training environment and competition that the advanced player can expect
to find at the collegiate level. The full-sided matches are also an outstanding opportunity for players
to express their play at the highest level of intensity within a team framework. Players eligible for this
camp must be in high school and be advanced players.
Camp Staff
The camp staff will be directed by Rob Ryerson along with Taylor Thames. Coach Thames will be working
directly with the goalkeepers and additional college coaches from within the region will be assisting. All
staff members will be comprised of collegiate level coaches with assistance from collegiate level players.

– All players will be housed in on-campus, AIR-CONDITIONED dorms.
– All players will receive one training shirt to use during the program.
– Sessions will be held in Waldron Family Stadium’s state of the art facility.
– Training sessions will be held at night under the lights.
– Meals will be provided in the University’s dining facilities.

Let’s meet Mike Ammann,
Rob Ryerson Professional Soccer Camps is glad to be partnering with longtime friend and former DC
United goalkeeper, Mike Ammann . Mike is the founder of Twenty Four Seven Goalkeeping Academy.
This academy is taking the goalkeeping position to new heights. Mike’s goalkeeping academy 247GK,
is a global brand that focuses on the development of goalkeepers at all levels and helping them reach
their individual goals. Mike and his staff are a group of professional coaches that understand the needs
of and can identify the unique qualities of each goalkeeper. Players eligible for this program at the Rob
Ryerson Professional Soccer Camp are between the ages of 11-18. Mike has coached at all levels and
has former players playing at the highest levels of soccer today.
Mike Ammann’s Bio,
After graduating from California State Fullerton as a collegiate All-American, Mike Ammann played for
Charlton Athletic (England) from 1994 to 1996. When Major League Soccer started in 1996, Ammann
signed with the then Kansas City Wizards. In 1997, he set a league record (since broken) of twenty-one
wins. Before the 1999 season, Ammann was traded to the NewYork MetroStars. The 2000 season was
Ammann’s best as the Metros went through a rebirth. Ammann was selected to the 2000 MLS All Star
game and started in goal for the Eastern Conference. In 2001, Ammann was traded to DC United where
he started in 19 matches during that season. Mike retired from professional soccer prior to the 2002
season, only after injuries held him back from playing at the professional level.

Camp Philosophy
Specifically for select or travel team, 9 and 10
year old, boy players, this camp will train in a
challenging, yet fun learning environment with
a concentration on individual technical skills
as well as the introduction of group and team
tactics. The camp will enhance each players
desire to play attacking soccer with confidence in
1v1 situations along with finishing to goal.
Camp Staff
The camp staff for this program will include
quality coaches who can communicate the
curriculum to players in a manner where they
are able to respond and replicate the actions
desired. This camp will improve each players’
confidence and concentration and will prepare
them for higher levels of competition.

reserve your registration for Residential Camps. All remaining balances are due by June 1, 2015.
Full payment is required for the Day Camp. Once a registration is received, a confirmation packet
will be sent that will include specific camp information, the camper information sheet and medical
history liability waiver. There are no refunds for cancellations made 14 days prior to camp. (A credit
can be made towards any future Rob Ryerson Residential Summer Camp Program)
