Ciudadanía
PARA LLENAR TU SOLICITUD DE CIUDADANÍA DEBES TRAER AL TALLER:










Tarjeta de residencia (mica), Seguro Social y licencia de conducir o identificación estatal
Fechas de todos los viajes fuera de los EE.UU. en los últimos 5 años
Lista de la direcciones de tus domicilios en los últimos 5 años
Lista de sus trabajos en los últimos 5 años con fechas y direcciones
El nombre de tu cónyuge, fecha de nacimiento, número de Seguro Social y número de
tarjeta de residencia (mica) y fecha de naturalización
Fecha del matrimonio actual y de matrimonios y divorcios anteriores (tuyos y de tu
cónyuge actual)
Nombres, fechas de nacimiento, números de tarjeta de residencia de tus hijos y las
direcciones de tus domicilios si no viven contigo
Fechas de arrestos, causas y resultados (si existieran) (Puedes pedir tu “certified
disposition” en la corte del Condado donde se cometió el delito)
Hombres: Tu numero de Servicio Selectivo y fecha de registro—si no lo sabes, llama al

Giro postal (Money order) de $680 (consulta cual es la tarifa vigente antes de aplicar) a
nombre de US Department of Homeland Security. Para aquellas personas mayores de 75
años, giro postal de $595. Mira perdón de pago
PARA APLICAR POR EL PERDON DE PAGO, DEBES TRAER LO SIGUIENTE:
Debes demostrar que usted esta recibiendo beneficios según tus ingresos. Necesitarás traer
comprobantes en forma de carta oficial de la agencia proporcionando los beneficios u otros documentos
que contienen:

El nombre de la agencia, nombre de la persona recibiendo los beneficios, que tipo de beneficios
recibe la persona y la fecha de cuando empezó a recibir los beneficios. Esta carta tiene que ser
en Ingles!


TO BE ABLE TO FILL OUT YOUR CITIZENSHIP APPLICATION YOU WILL
NEED TO BRING FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS:










Your Permanent Resident Card (green card) AND Social Security Card AND your
driver’s license or state ID
Dates of all travels outside US since you received your green card
A list of all your home addresses for the past 5 years
A list of all you employer addresses, dates, and locations for the past 5 years
If currently married, your spouse’s name AND date of birth AND social security
number AND immigration number (if applIcable) AND date of naturalization (if
applicable)
Date of ALL marriages and divorces of you and your spouse (if applicable)
If you have children—their names AND their addresses (if not living with you) AND
their dates of birth AND their green card numbers (if applicable)
If you have ever been arrested—reason for arrest AND date AND place it happened
AND outcome/disposition
Males: your Selective Service number and registration date—if you don’t know, call
(847) 688-6888 or go to www.sss.gov
Money order for $680 (double check the correct amount of the current fee before you
send your application) payable to US Department of Homeland Security. For those
older than 75 years of age the money order amount is $595.
FEE WAIVER INFORMATION:
You must demonstrate that you or someone in your immediate family is receiving a means tested
benefit. You will need to provide evidence in form of an official letter from the agency granting the
benefits or other documents that contain:

The name of agency, name of the person receiving the benefit, what kind of benefit the person
is receiving, and the date the person began receiving the benefit.

Your most recent Federal Income Tax and W2’s.
