Principal's Letter
Greetings Walter Reed Families!
We have a short time remaining for families to submit their meal applications. We need 100% participation in order to qualify for
federal funding for our school. Please see Mr. Demski in the Title 1 office; room 103, if you have any questions.
Have you heard about the PTSA Arts Reflection Contest and our Hallowreed Howling Haunted Hangout after school this
Friday? Learn more about these events and more by visiting reedms.com and make sure you are receiving the Reed Network News
to stay informed on what's happening at school.
Don't forget to bring your plastic recycling to the Sarah Street gate at drop-off and pick-up tomorrow for our CARE Mondays,
sponsored by the Environmental Science Academy! Your recycling turns into fundraising dollars for our school!
Finally, congratulations to our 8th grade music students who performed in their Fall Concert last Thursday. Join us for the 7th grade
Fall Concert on Tuesday, October 18th. There is no school on Wednesday the 12th, our Parent Conferences on Thursday are from
5:30 - 7:30, and Friday is a minimum day with a 12:32 dismissal.
We look forward to seeing you soon, and remember, I never fail; I either succeed or I learn.
