Empresa de carácter familiar con la tercera
generación de la família Bauçà al mando, viene
desarrollando una intensa actividad artesanal e
industrial en productos de alta calidad de barro
cocido.
Nuestros productos más característicos son la
amplia gama de artículos típicos mallorquines
que fabricamos, que van desde la tradicional teja
mallorquina hasta la bovedilla curvada
mallorquina o peldaños de amplio grosor.
A family company run by the third generation of
the Bauçà family. The company produces a large
quantity of high quality clay products using both
traditional and industrial methods.
Our main feature is the wide range of typical
Mallorcan articles we produce, wich include
traditional tiles, the typical curved bovedillas (long
hollow bricks) and very thick steps.

PROCESO DE PRODUCCIÓN
PRODUCTION PROCESS
1. ARCILLA/CLAY
La materia prima, la arcilla, se mezcla con agua
hasta conseguir un buen fango.
The raw material, clay, is mixed with water in
order to create the proper consistency of mud.
2. MOLDEO/MOULDED
Una vez mezcladas la arcilla y el agua se
moldean las piezas.
Once the clay and the water where mixed the
items process to moulded.
3. SECADO/DRYING
Después de hacer las piezas deseadas, se
trasladan a los secaderos para que se vayan
secando lentamente.
After the desired items have been created, they
are moved to drying sheds in order to dry slowly.
4. HORNO/KILN
Todas las piezas se colocan manualmente y con
mucha delicadeza hasta llenar el horno.
Filling the kiln: all the items are very carefully and
gently placed in the kiln by hand.
5. COCCIÓN/FIRED
Ésta es la fase ﬁnal y la más cuidadosa, la
cocción de las piezas a fuego lento y más de
1000 ºC.

TRADICIONAL
Seguímos utilizando los materiales tradicionales: agua, arcilla y fuego de leña.
La arcilla (materia prima) utilizada es de primera clases y proviene de nuestra cantera. Esta arcilla, por sus peculiares
características y sobre todo por su gran elasticidad, permite la fabricación de cualquier tipo de pieza de barro.
Todas las piezas son cocidas a fuego lento, lo cual permite un mayor grosor en las piezas (cuando se requiere) y una mayor
durabilidad.
This is the ﬁnal stage and then one in wich most
care must be taken: the clay items are ﬁred at a
low heat at over 1000ºC.
6. PIEZAS/ITEMS
Cuando el horno alcanza de nuevo la
temperatura ambiental se sacan las piezas y se
seleccionan para su comercialización.
TRADITTIONAL
PRODUCTION
We continue using traditional materials: water, clay and wood-ﬁred kilns.
The clay and other raw materials used are of top quality and come from the company’s own quarry. Thanks to its unique
characteristics, and in particular its great elasticity, this clay can be used to make all types of pottery.
All items are ﬁred at low heat, which allows thicker items to be produced (when required) and makes them longer lasting.

When the kiln returns to room temperature, the
items are removed and the selection process
begins for the market commercialization.

PELDAÑOS Y FIOLAS
STEPS AND STAIRS TILES
·Con el peldaño de barro cocido, sus escaleras
tendrán un estilo propio y tradicional, obteniendo el
acabado perfecto tanto en interiores como en
exteriores. Contamos con una amplia variedad de
medidas y acabados.
·Las Fiolas se pueden utilizar para ventanas, bordes
de piscina, de terrazas, cubre muros, etc.
Disponemos de dos modelos de Fiola, Fiola
Vierteaguas, con goterón en la parte frontal, y la
Fiola Tapa-muros, más ancha que la anterior, y con
doble goterón.

·The stair tiles can be used for windows, edges of
swimming pool, terraces, covering walls, etc. We
have two models of stair tile: Fiola “Vierteaguas”, with
large raindrop in the frontal part, and Fiola
“Tapa-muros”, broader than the previous one, and
with double large raindrop.

además de obtener el acabado perfecto tanto en
decoración como en calidad para su tejado. Hay
varios tamaños y acabados.
Botellero doble: El Botellero cerámico, ofrece
calidad y diseño para su bodega, ideal para la
conservación del vino.
Tova mallorquina “Macizo mecánico”: se puede
utilizar para la fabricación de barbacoas, forros,
paredes etc.
