Available for public use are meeting rooms, an indoor gymnasium, weight room, teen center, dance room, and kitchen.
Exclusive programs offered include aerobic courses, Zumba classes, kickboxing lessons, ballet folklorico, youth flag
football and much more! Outdoor facilities include a sand lot, lighted multipurpose field, softball diamond, tennis
courts and basketball courts. We are also a smoke and alcohol free park!

You can now register for Mt View’s classes and programs from home!
We are introducing a new feature that the City of San Diego has to make it possible to register for all of our classes and programs right from
your home on your personal computer! The program is called “Active Net” and is serving the entire Park and Recreation department. Signing
up is absolutely FREE! In this program by each activity is a class activity number you can use to register online!
Customers still have the option to come into Mt View to register and pay in person but to give people one more to enroll, this online option is
now available! Save yourself a trip to the park and time waiting in line to register!

-you can read class descriptions, see course dates and prices
-register for upcoming programs which occur in future months

The recreation center does not provide change.
Classes, dates, and times are subject to change without notice.
Classes cancelled due to instructor emergency will be rescheduled.
RECREATION COUNCIL
A citizen's advisory group made up of involved
community members, meets at 6:30 pm on the second
Tuesday of each month. This group of concerned
citizens, volunteer their time to advise the center's
staff on programs and policy. Meetings are open to
the public and your participation is welcomed. Please
contact the office for more details.

of San Diego, as well as with Senior and Therapeutic
Recreation programs. If you would like to volunteer or

GAZEBO RENTALS AVAILABLE
Mt. View Community Center has four multipurpose rooms ,
a gymnasium and an outdoor gazebo. All permits are issued
by the Recreation Center Director, who can be contacted at

Permit requests can be processed on Tuesdays and Thursdays
from 1:00 pm-6:00 pm or by phone appointment only!
