assistance you can give in dispersing this important information will be greatly appreciated. The following
information can be retrieved by calling the Dallas County Elections Hotline, 214.637.7937, which is

PHOTO ID LAW:
Texas’ Voter Photo ID Law, passed as S.B. 14 in 2011, and is now law. Dallas County voters are required to
show photo identification when voting in person. For information about photo ID requirements, including
exemptions, visit www.VoteTexas.gov or www.DallasCountyVotes.org. For information on how to obtain a
free Election Identification Certificate (EIC), visit www.DPS.Texas.gov/DriverLicense/electionID.htm.
EARLY VOTING BY MAIL:
Eligible voters can call the Elections Department at 214.819.6300 or 214.819.6359 for an application for an
early ballot by mail or send a letter with the following information:
Name, Residence Address, Voting Precinct Number, Voter Certificate Number,
Reason for Requesting an Early Ballot, Name of Election or
Request of Annual Elections and a Signature
An early ballot by mail may be requested if one of the reasons listed below applies:
a) Age 65 or over as of Election Day;
b) Confinement in jail;
c) Absence from county on Election Day and during the entire period of personal appearance early
voting;
d) Disability due to sickness or physical condition.
The applicant must also give the address where they wish their ballot to be mailed, if the address is different
from the address where the applicant is registered to vote.
If the applicant is unable to sign his or her name, they should make a mark and have someone witness their
mark. The witness should give their name and address.
The Elections Administrator’s office accepts applications for early voting 60 days prior to Election Day. The
last day to accept an early voting application for a ballot by mail for the June 13, 2015 Joint Runoff
Election is Thursday, June 4, 2015.

EMERGENCY BALLOT:
Voters with the onset of an illness on/or after June 9, 2015, may obtain an early voting application for a ballot
by mail for the Joint Elections by having a representative bring a statement from a doctor and a signed
statement from the voter that they are unable to appear at the polling place. The Representative must bring
the statement to the Early Voting Clerk, located at 2377 N. Stemmons Freeway, Suite 820, Dallas, Texas,
75207. Emergency ballot applications must be delivered by a representative in person no later than 7:00
pm Election Day to the Early Voting Clerk at address listed below.

Condado de Dallas están ahora obligados a mostrar una identificación con foto al votar en persona. Para

VOTANDO ADELANTADO POR CORREO:
Votantes elegibles pueden llamar al departamento de elecciones al 214-819-6300 o al 214-819-6359 para
una aplicación para una boleta adelantada o enviar una carta con la siguiente información:
Nombre, domicilio, número de precinto electoral, número de certificado de votante,
Motivo para solicitar una boleta adelantada, nombre de la elección,
solicitar las elecciones anuales y su firma.
Podrá solicitarse una boleta adelantada si aplica por una de las razones indicadas a continuación:
a) 65 años o más a partir del día de la elección;
b) en la cárcel;
c) ausente del condado en el día de elección y durante todo el período de votación adelantada
d) incapacidad debido a enfermedad o condición física.
El solicitante también debe dar la dirección a la que desean que su boleta sea enviada , si la dirección es
diferente a la dirección donde el solicitante está inscrito para votar.
Si el solicitante no puede firmar su nombre, debe hacer una marca y tener a alguien como testigo de su
marca. El testigo debe dar su nombre y dirección
La Oficina del administrador de las elecciones acepta solicitudes para la votos tempranas 60 días antes del
día de las elecciones. El último día para aceptar una solicitud de votación temprana para una boleta
por correo para la elección conjunta de el 13 del Junio de 2015 para ciudades y distritos escolares es
jueves, 4 de junio de 2015.

BOLETA DE EMERGENCIA:
Los votantes con la aparición de una enfermedad en / o después de 9 de junio del 2015, puede obtener
una solicitud para votación adelantada para una boleta por correo para las elecciones conjuntas de
ciudades y distritos escolares teniendo un representante traer una declaración(afirmación) de un doctor y
una declaración(afirmación) firmada por el votante que son incapaces de aparecer al lugar de votación. El
representante debe traer la declaración(afirmación) al Oficinista de Votación Adelantada, localizada en
2377 N. Stemmons Freeway, oficina 820, Dallas, Texas, 75207. Las aplicaciones de la boleta para
votación de emergencia deben ser entregadas por un representante en persona no más tardar del las
