A Letter from Our Pastor
Gluten-Free Protocol
One of the areas of growth within
the health-care sector of our
society is the number of people
who have adopted gluten-free diets. Most restaurants
and groceries stores have gluten-free menus and
items. This has also impacted the protocol
surrounding the distribution of Holy Communion at
Mass. Here at Sacred Heart of Jesus we have
gathered as much information as possible and looked
at a variety of options.
What is called for from the Communicant:
First, a few reminders. The reception of Communion
is "complete" if it is received under either form. Some
folks who are gluten-free choose to bypass the host,
and receive only from the cup. This is perfectly
acceptable. However, to share in the Sacrament with
both species is spiritually desired for many as
well. We have come up with a "protocol" to follow
which allows for this reception.
3. When going to Communion, go to the priest's
line. When you come to the priest, he will notice your
cross and give you a gluten-free host. If he does not
notice, discreetly point to the cross.
1. The person wishing to receive a gluten-free host
must prepare themselves prior to Mass. Come to the
credence table behind the altar before Mass. From
the small bowl of gluten-free hosts available, place
one in the small ciborium, take a special wheat
necklace, and place it around your neck. This
identifies you as a gluten-free receiver.
2. The number of gluten-free hosts needed for that

4. After Mass, place your cross back on the tray at

PROTOCOLO– LIBRE DE GLUTEN

Una de las áreas de crecimiento dentro del sector de la atención a la salud en nuestra sociedad es el
número de personas que han adoptado dietas sin gluten. La mayoría de los restaurantes y tiendas de
abarrotes tienen menús y productos sin gluten. Esto también ha impactado en el protocolo que rodea a la
distribución de la Sagrada Comunión en la Misa. Aquí en el Sagrado Corazón de Jesús, nos hemos
reunido mayor cantidad de información posible, y considerando una variedad de opciones.
En primer lugar, algunos recordatorios. La recepción de la Comunión esta "completa", si se toma en
virtud de una u otra forma. Algunas personas que son sin gluten optan por pasar por alto la hostia, y sólo
reciben de la copa. Esto es perfectamente aceptable. Sin embargo, recibir el Sacramento con ambas
especies es espiritualmente deseado por muchos también. Hemos llegado con un "protocolo" a seguir que
permite esta recepción.
Algunos puntos del protocolo:
1. Sagrado Corazón de Jesús siempre ha tenido disponible hostias sin gluten. La parroquia las adquiere
por separado. Son aprobadas por el Vaticano.
2. Debido a que las hostias sin gluten no pueden ser mezclados con las hostias de trigo, esto ha creado
una cuestión relativa a los vasos litúrgicos. Hemos comprado un copón especial (el recipiente que
contiene las hostias) estrictamente a ser utilizado para las hostias sin gluten. Sin co-mezcla. Y, utilizado
por el sacerdote.
Lo que se requiere del comulgante
1. La persona que desee recibir una hostia sin gluten deben prepararse antes de la Misa. Ven a la
credencia detrás del altar antes de la Misa. Del tazón pequeño de hostias sin gluten disponibles, coloca
una en el pequeño copón, y toma un collar especial el trigo, y ponlo alrededor de tu cuello. Esto te
identifica como un receptor sin gluten.
2. El número de las hostias sin gluten necesarios para que la misa estará disponible en el copón especial.
3. A la hora de comulgar, ve a la línea del sacerdote. Al llegar al sacerdote, el se dará cuenta de tu cruz y
te dará una hostia sin gluten. Si él no se da cuenta, discretamente apunta a la cruz.
4. Después de la misa, coloque su cruz en la bandeja en la credencia (detrás del altar).
Esperamos que este nuevo protocolo permita a muchos que han adoptado una dieta libre de gluten para
poder participar del Cuerpo de Cristo. Esperemos, que abrirá las puertas a algunas personas que han
tenido que "elegir". Queremos responder a las necesidades de todos nuestros feligreses, especialmente
aquellos que, por razones de salud deben recibir la Comunión de una manera especial. Si usted tiene
alguna pregunta, no dude en preguntar a cualquiera de los sacerdotes o diáconos sobre el nuevo protocolo.

Es en una antigua y piadosa tradición que encontramos los orígenes
de esta fiesta mariana que surge en el escrito apócrifo llamado
"Protoevangelio de Santiago". Este relato cuenta que cuando la
Virgen María era muy niña sus padres San Joaquín y Santa Ana la
llevaron al templo de Jerusalén y allá la dejaron por un tiempo, junto
con otro grupo de niñas, para ser instruida muy cuidadosamente
respecto a la religión y a todos los deberes para con Dios.
Históricamente, el inicio de esta celebración fue la dedicación de la Iglesia de Santa María la Nueva en
Jerusalén en el año 543. Estas fiestas se vienen conmemorando en Oriente desde el siglo VI, inclusive el
emperador Miguel Comeno cuenta sobre esto en una Constitución de 1166.

Novena a Nuestra Sra. de Guadalupe Inicia el 3 al 12 de Diciembre Los Rosarios de la Novena se llevaran a cabo en los hogares y 3 diferentes comunidades del área de
Boulder, contando con procesiones y Rosario en esas áreas.
Martes 8 de Diciembre, Inmaculada Concepción de María, es Misa de Precepto (Obligación)
Sábado 12 de Diciembre Misa a las 7 am

2016 Año Santo de la Misericordia
Del 8 de diciembre de 2015, solemnidad de la Inmaculada Concepción al 20 de noviembre de
2016, domingo de Nuestro Señor Jesucristo Rey del universo
Palabras del Santo Padre: Será un Año Santo de la Misericordia. Lo queremos vivir a la luz de la palabra
del Señor: “Sean misericordiosos como el Padre” (cfr Lc 6,36). ¡Tanta misericordia! Este Año Santo
iniciará en la próxima solemnidad de la Inmaculada Concepción y concluirá el 20 de noviembre de 2016,
domingo de Nuestro Señor Jesucristo Rey del universo y rostro vivo de la misericordia del Padre. Confío
la organización de este Jubileo al Consejo Pontificio para la Promoción de la Nueva
Evangelización, para que pueda animarlo como una nueva etapa del camino de la Iglesia en su misión de
llevar a cada persona el Evangelio de la misericordia.

trabajo, la belleza de la creación a tu alrededor
Oración: Para amar hemos nacido, por tanto la oración por el amor debe ser
la gimnasia espiritual que, ya sea en pareja o individualmente, debe mantenernos
en el camino
¿Qué estás dispuesto a compartir?: Entre más puedas compartir con tu pareja
lo que eres, la unión indisoluble que esperas tener al contraer matrimonio, será
cada vez más fuerte
Demos gracias a Dios: En vez de concentrarnos tanto en pedirle, tomemos el tiempo de expresarle nuestro
agradecimiento cada mañana al despertar por poder ver la luz de un nuevo día.
