JORDI DELGADO MARTÍN – CURRICULUM VITAE RESUMIDO
Catedrático de Universidad (Ingeniería del Terreno) en la ETS Ingenieros de Caminos
(Universidade da Coruña, UDC). Licenciado en Ciencias Geológicas (1983-1988) y
doctor (1989-1993) por la Universitat de Barcelona (UB). Reconocimiento de 3
sexenios de investigación y 5 quinquenios de docencia. En los pasados 25 años ha
impartido asignaturas de 1er y 2º ciclo, grado, doctorado y máster en la UB y UDC,
habiendo colaborado con instituciones como el CEDEX. En la actualidad imparte
geología, mecánica de rocas, hidroquímica, modelización geoquímica en grados y
másteres oficiales.
Ha realizado estancias en el Dep. Geología (Univ. Nacional del Sur, Argentina; 2001);
Fac. Ingeniería Química (Univ. de Guayaquil (Ecuador; 2001); U.S. Geological Survey
(USA; 2000) y Dept. Geological Sciences (Univ. Michigan, USA; 1990-1991)
Es autor o coautor de >100 publicaciones (en su mayoría indexadas, 31 JCR) y
presentado >120 ponencias en congresos nacionales e internacionales. Ha participado
en >24 proyectos de investigación competitivos de carácter autonómico, nacional y
europeo (>15 como IP), > 45 contratos con empresas (>40 como IP: ENDESA,
ENRESA, LIMEISA, INDITEX, REPSOL, CEIMA, CIUDEN, ENCASUR, EMALCSA,
AUGAS DE GALICIA, etc.).
Ha sido codirector de 6 tesis doctorales (2 premio ext.), 3 DEA y 10 tesinas. Miembro
de 26 tribunales de tesis doctoral. Evaluador de revistas JCR (J Hydrol; J Environ

JORDI DELGADO MARTÍN – SUMMARY CURRICULUM VITAE
Full Profesor (Applied Geology) at the Civil Engineering School (University of A
Coruña, UDC). Geology (1983-1988) and Ph.D. (1989-1993) degrees from the
University of Barcelona (UB). In the past 25 years he has delivered different subjects in
1st y 2nd cycle degrees, doctorate and master courses at the UB and UDC, with
additional collaborations with institutions like CEDEX. At present he teaches courses of
basic geology, rock mechanics, hydrochemistry, geochemical modelling in official
university degrees and masters.
He has performed research stays at the Geology Dept. (Univ. Nacional del Sur,
Argentina; 2001); Chemical Engineering Faculty (Univ. de Guayaquil (Ecuador; 2001);
U.S. Geological Survey (USA; 2000) y Dept. of Geological Sciences (Univ. Michigan,
USA; 1990-1991).
He is author or coauthor of >100 publications (mainly indexed, 31 JCR) y and defended
>120 contributions to national or international meetings, seminars and congresses. He
has also participated in >24 competitive research projects funded by autonomous,
national or European institutions (>15 as PI), >45 contracts with private companies
(>40 as PI: ENDESA, ENRESA, LIMEISA, INDITEX, REPSOL, CEIMA, CIUDEN,

(2008-2011). Member of the Steering Committee of the Mineralogical Society of Spain
(2007-2010) and Principal Coordinator of the GEAMA research group (2005-2011). He
has been the recipient of the 2004 Research Award (Royal Academy of Sciences of
Galicia), the Young’s Research Award (1995) of the Mineralogical Society of Spain and
the FPI program (General Plan) fellowship 1988–1991.
