PROCESSION
SPIRITUAL DIRECTION PROGRAM: Spiritual Direction is a process in which a mentor accompanies one person - the directee - for an extended
period of time. Through conversation, prayer, and spiritual exercises, the mentor helps the directee clarify spiritual issues so that s/he can move
toward a deeper experience with the Divine. If you are interested in receiving spiritual direction, contact Rev. Edgard Francisco at RevEdgard@
mccny.org or call ext. 223.
CHRISTIANS OF AFRICAN DESCENT (C.A.D.) is part of the overall spiritual environment of MCCNY. We have general meetings open to all on the
2nd Sunday of the month following the 11am celebration, September through March. For more information, call the Church office at 212-6297440. All are welcome. Next meeting is February 14th!

THE LESSON
La Lección Primera
Isias 62: 1-5
The First Lesson
Isaiah 62: 1-5
For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, until vindication shines out like
the dawn, and salvation like a burning torch. The nations shall see your vindication, and all the rulers your
glory; and you shall be called by a new name that the mouth of God will give. You shall be a crown of beauty
in the hand of God, and a royal diadem in the hand of your God. You shall no more be termed Forsaken,
and your land shall no more be termed Desolate; but you shall be called My Delight Is in Her and your land
Married; for God delights in you, and your land shall be married. For as a young person marries, so shall
your builder marry you, and as the one spouse rejoices over the other so shall your God rejoice over you.

La Lección Segunda
San Juan 2: 1-12
The Second Lesson
John 2: 1-12
