Senator wants

Senator Ted Cruz officially announced his bid for the 2016 Republican presidential nomination
on Monday, but it is still unclear
whether he will be able to secure
his party‘s nomination.
Cruz spoke to a crowd of cheering students at Liberty University
on pursuing the American dream,
growing up as the son of a Cuban
immigrant and as a family man
with strong Christian values.
“I believe in you. I believe in
the power of millions of courageous conservatives rising up to
re-ignite the promise of America,”
Cruz said.
For the first time in eight years,
the presidency is guaranteed to be
vacated by the next election and
the Republican Party is wasting no
time in finding the strongest can-
didate to take back the office. Cruz
faces stiff competition from a large
number of high-profile candidates,
including former governors Jeb
Bush of Florida, Mike Huckabee of
Arkansas and Wisconsin Governor
Scott Walker.
“His chances are a little bit less
than 50-50, only because there are
so many potential candidates,” Dr.
Henry Flores, Professor of Political
Science at St. Mary’s University,
said. “Going up against three formidable opponents, it’s going to be
difficult just to get out of pack, let
alone secure the rest of the Republican Party.”
However, Flores noted, his entry
in the campaign early on would put
a lot of pressure on other Republican hopefuls to also declare their
presidential bid and coming out now
would probably help him get more
support from Republican organizations and fundraisers.

gía, estudiantes de la escuela
primaria Graebner en el sur de
la ciudad recibieron al Rey Feo
Jon Gary Herrera el viernes por
la mañana.
Como Rey, Herrera ha inculcado
la importancia de la educación en
más de 20 escuelas y planea visitar
otras 40 antes de su coronación
oficial el 17 de abril.
En cada escuela, el Rey Feo
anima a los estudiantes a que continúen sus estudios y obtengan un
título universitario.

mi Saldivar, le comentó a La
Prensa estar muy contenta con la
visita y el mensaje del Rey Feo.
“Es importante que no nada
más oigan de la importancia de
la educación de sus maestros, si
no también de miembros de la
comunidad, especialmente durante Fiesta, un evento cultural
tan importante en nuestra ciudad”,
expresó la directora.
Además, el Rey Feo reconoció
con certificados a varios estudian­
tes por destacarse en la lectura.

una serenata.
“Los niños son muy buenos
y nos iluminan el día”, añadió
Herre­ra.
Herrera, quien es el vicepresidente de asuntos gubernamentales
y públicos de Time Warner Cable,
ha recaudado más de $200,000 en
becas para la fundación educacional del Consejo Rey Feo. Este
programa es parte de la Liga de
Ciudadanos Latinos Americanos
Unidos (LULAC, por sus siglas en
inglés) y ayuda a estudiantes de bajos recursos a pagar la universidad.

The march for peace
and justice continues

Most San Antonians recognize
the name Cesar Chavez, but
there are many who are unaware
of his contributions to the Chicano Civil Rights Movement.
This year the San Anto Cultural Arts Center will celebrate
Chavez’s dedication with educational and engaging events,
including a special screening of
the PBS Documentary ¡Chicano!
“Struggle in the Fields,” which
explores the work of key leaders
including Chavez and where the
movement is today.
Although the documentary is
less than 60 minutes, it touches
on Chavez’s efforts to improve
life for workers in the field, and
his work to organize boycotts
and demonstrations throughout
the country.
“We have very few Latino
civil rights leaders,” Dr. Lori
B. Rodriguez, the development
manager for San Anto Cultural
Arts said. “That’s why it’s important to understand who he
was while marching, and why
it’s still important today as
we work for equality among
groups.”
After the screening, San Anto
will host a poster-making workshop to prepare for the Cesar
Chavez March.
Although craft supplies will
be provided, participants are
encouraged to bring their own
supplies.
Individuals and families are
invited to march with San Anto
this Saturday at the Cesar Chavez
March, which starts at the corner
of Guadalupe and Brazos, and
ends at the Alamo.
A former Chicano studies
teacher at the University of Min-
nesota, Dr. Rodriguez believes
that the key to change begins
with the people.
“Even though our event has
been off and on throughout the
years, we wanted to remind
people of our continued work
to improve life for the Latino
community,” Dr. Rodriguez said.
“We thought it would be great to
include something educational to
introduce how this all started.”
The documentary screening
and poster-making take place at
the San Antonio Cultural Arts
building at 2120 El Paso St. on
Wednesday, March 25, 2015. The
film screens between 6 p.m. to 7
p.m., and the poster making takes
place between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m.
The Cesar Chavez March is
Saturday, March 28 and begins
at 10:00am. Participants should
meet corner of Brazos and Guadalupe Street and look for the San
Anto banner.

Be green, fit and friendly this Fiesta

Every year thousands of San
Antonio residents and visitors
gather to celebrate a more than
century old tradition.
With Fiesta 2015 just a few
weeks away, Mayor Ivy Taylor
is challenging the community
to enjoy a green, fit and friendly
celebration this year.
To take part in the challenge,
Fiesta attendees should recycle
whenever possible, use alternative transportation methods and
consider healthy food items.
Mayor Taylor encouraged the
community to be green by walking or bicycling to and from Fiesta
events and by disposing their trash
in designated recycling containers,
which will be set up right next to
regular trash cans.
To keep the celebration family and environment friendly, the
routes of the three major parades
will continue to be smoke-free.
Additionally, Mayor Taylor
personally encouraged the community to enjoy some of the
healthy food options that will be
available at the food booths during
the festivities.
“Your body will thank you af-
terwards,” Mayor Taylor added.
As Councilman for District 1,
Roberto Treviño said he takes
a lot of pride in San Antonio’s
downtown.
“As we work to make Fiesta
more green, fit and friendly, we are
creating a more positive experience for our residents and visitors
alike,” Treviño said.
In addition to placing recycling
bins next to every trash receptacle,
the City is partnering with Keep
San Antonio Beautiful to distribute thousands of mesh recycling
bags to distribute during the night
and day parades.

“We do this because we want
people to take pride in our downtown as they enjoy the Fiesta
activities,” Councilman Treviño
said. “We encourage all San An-
tonio residents and visitors to have
a safe and fun Fiesta.”
The 11-day celebration will kick
off April 16 and will include more
than 100 events featuring music,
food, parades and much more.

ENTERTAINMENT
No dialog, only music to carry the show

The Blue Man Group is a sight
to behold. They are, just as the
name implies, a group of men in
blue and the entertainment the
group provides will exhaust you
and leave you wanting more.
Over the upcoming weekend,
Friday through Sunday you’ll get
a chance to share that experience.
While the stars of the show are
the Blue Men, it’s made up of
an ensemble of seven dedicated
and talented individuals on stage
taking you to different realms of
music and theater.
Antonio Aguirre, an Orlando,
Florida native, is a string player
who has been with the group for
three years. He was hesitant about
sending in his résumé when he saw
the posting of a position on the
Blue Man Group website.
He admits he never imagined
getting hired.
“I’d seen the show before in Orlando, but it’s not something that
I thought would ever happen and
even when my girlfriend found the
posting it was really intimidating
to send in my résumé and go in
there with a bunch of professional
Blue Men musicians and do the
audition,” Aguirre told La Prensa
After a couple of auditions,
Aguirre was hired and his training
came in the form of the show on a
DVD with 28 days to learn it and
at the same time, the instruments
which he would use.
“I play something called an electric zither,” Aguirre explained. “It
kind of looks like the inside of a
piano, 86 strings on it. It’s a very
strange instrument, made just for
the show. That’s one thing that I
play, the other instrument is the
chapman stick, a 10 string guitar
instrument.”
Aguirre is one of four musicians
that are on stage at one time or another during the performance. The
band sits in two lofts about 15 feet
above the stage on opposite sides
of that stage and each loft has two
band members. The lofts light up in
certain parts of the show. They become visible to the audience when
they’re called on to strongly support something exciting on stage.
“We wear these costumes that
make us look kind of weird or two
dimensional at times,” Aguirre
said. “Then when we show up it’s
by black light, so the UV lights
turn on and our costumes glow.
All of a sudden you have these
four characters appear like out of
nowhere, kind of floating to support the music that’s happening
on stage.”
An interesting thing about the
show, there is no written music.
This gives it a sort of a feeling of
jazz in the production. The Blue
Man Group is the obvious lead
and the musicians, Aguirre among
them, follow their movements or
parts.
“Each of those parts go with
something that the actors or characters are doing, but they don’t
do the same thing every night,”
according to Aguirre. “In fact I’ve
never seen them do the same thing.
There’s a lot times we’ll have to
stretch parts or cut parts out or fill
in with new music that’s improvised on the spot.”
Aguirre is quick to point out
one doesn’t work well without the
other and the Blue Man character
is mute, he doesn’t talk. He expresses himself visually through
body language. The musicians
take their cues and throughout the
performance they’re watching and
playing, but admittedly not really
thinking what it is they’re playing
just watching the Blue Men.
Aguirre added there’s a part
of the show that everyone in the
group likes and it’s called the seat
picking, and involves audience
participation.
“As we’re watching them move
depending on how quickly they
move or who they’re looking at or
what it feels like, we play something that goes along with that. It
builds until the moment they’ve
selected somebody and lift them up
out of the seat and they come up on
stage and become part of the show
for the next 15 minutes,” he said.
Five performances are scheduled at the Majestic Theatre. The
Blue Man Group opens with performances at 8 p.m. Friday; 2 and
8 p.m., Saturday and at 2 and 7:30
p.m. on Sunday.

Además los avances de la ciencia médica ahora hacen posible
que el donante, mientras dura el
procedimiento, esté conforta­
blemente reclinado en un sillón
viendo películas, oyendo música
o simplemente relajándose mientras dura el procedimiento en
el que participan y participarán
generosos donantes que anualmente salva innumerables vidas.
En los hospitales, la reserva de
este componente de la sangre es
de vital importancia para poder
atender a los heridos en accidentes en una región ampliamente
poblada como es el sur de Texas,
puesto que el banco de sangre
referido no solo atiende las necesidades del área metropolitana de
San Antonio, sino que su acción
se extiende a una amplia zona
del estado
Además de que las plaquetas
sirven como coagulantes de
emergencia, estas son utilizadas
también en transfusiones a pa­
cientes después que una opera­
ción de trasplante de médula y

Although Cruz is starting with
the lowest poll numbers of any
presidential candidate since John
Kerry in 2003, if he is able to secure
the party’s presidential nomination,
he can expect to find strong support
from Texas Republican voters.
Cruz has proven to be a divisive
individual within his own party.
His 21-hour filibuster against the
Affordable Care Act in 2013 and his
role in the temporary government
shutdown caused backlash from
many politicians.
Although the filibuster failed,
Cruz will have to work hard to
appeal to all the different factions
within in the Republican Party and
eventually the Democratic Party.
“Democrats are going to be vehemently against him, because he
is a very polarizing candidate, but
this may result in higher turnout
rates,” Flores said. “He’s the sort
of candidate that there’s no middle
road; People either love him, or
they really don’t love him.”

San Antonio resident in Washington, D.C.
for Alzheimer’s Association Advocacy Forum

This week eight Alzheimer’s
Association representatives will
attend the 27th annual Alzheimer’s
Association Advocacy Forum in
Washington, D.C. They will join
more than 1,000 people with the
disease, caregivers and fellow
advocates from across the nation
to appeal to their members of
Congress for action on Alzheimer’s
disease. While on Capitol Hill,
advocates will share their personal
stories with legislators and request
that adequate research funding be
allocated for Alzheimer’s disease.
According to the Alzheimer’s
Association 2014 Alzheimer’s
Disease Facts and Figures Report,
in Texas, nearly 330,000 residents
age 65 and older have Alzheimer’s.
Approximately, 1.2 million friends
and family members endure the
significant emotional, physical and
financial challenges of caregiving
for their loved ones with Alzheimer’s or another
dementia.
The six volunteer Ambassadors for San
Antonio and
South Texas
include: Robert Rodriguez,
Amber Anthony, Elaine Talarski, Edward
Camarillo,
Cheryl Krueger, Sandra Kiening.
The two staff from the Alzheimer’s
Association, San Antonio and
South Texas chapter, who will
be joining the Ambassadors, are
Margaret Barron and Ginny Funk.
The group hopes to represent the
millions of families impacted by
Alzheimer’s.
“Attending Forum is more cru-
cial than ever! We must build on
the momentum and sense of urgency created by the passage of the
Alzheimer’s Accountability Act,”
Robert Rodriguez, Ambassador for
Rep. Lamar Smith said. “Congress
needs to be overwhelmed by just
how visceral and how committed
we all are to the fight. This is our
best chance at convincing them to
make Alzheimer’s a priority.”

There are currently more than
5 million Americans nationwide
living with Alzheimer’s disease
and that number is poised to grow
to as many as 16 million by 2050.
In addition to the human toll of the
disease, care for Alzheimer’s, the
country’s most expensive disease,
will cost the nation $226 billion
in 2015.

Taking on San Antonio’s epidemic of childhood obesity

The Children’s Hospital of San
Antonio has named Dr. Julie La
Barba Medical Director for its
groundbreaking new program designed to drive healthy eating and
tackle childhood obesity in San
Antonio. The program, known as
CHEF which stands for Culinary
Health Education for Families, is
funded by a generous grant from
Goldsbury Foundation.
“The Children’s Hospital has always been a trusted source for parents with sick or injured children,
and now we are enhancing that
image by focusing on ways families can maintain good health with
nutrition and culinary education, a
teaching kitchen, and two-and-a-
half acres of gardens surrounding
the hospital,” La Barba said.
The teaching kitchen, designed
by the Culinary Institute of America, will feature healthy cooking
demonstrations as well as hands-on
teaching opportunities for individuals and families who are motivated
to improve their health through
better nutrition. The program is
part of the Hospital’s $135 million
transformation that is underway
on its downtown campus to give
San Antonio a world-class, freestanding children’s hospital.
“Cooking delicious and satisfying meals that also happen to be
good for families doesn’t have to
require expensive ingredients or
gourmet cooking skills,” La Barba
said. “Seventy percent of chronic
health conditions associated with
obesity are preventable. Conditions
such as cardiovascular disease, type
2 diabetes and stroke are largely
attributed to issues related such
as diet and exercise. One out of
every three San Antonio school-age
children are overweight or obese.”
In partnership with H-E-B and
CentroMed, the CHEF program
recently launched its first research
project unveiling Prescriptions
for Produce, a pilot program that
focuses on the health of pregnant
women and their unborn babies
through providing physician-prescribed vouchers for $40 worth
of fruits and vegetables at H-E-B
each month during their pregnancy.
The program includes a one-hour
guided shopping tour by an H-E-B
registered dietitian and a cooking class. Participants will attend
monthly nutritional counseling at
their doctor’s office throughout
their pregnancy to continue receiving monthly vouchers for produce.
If they complete the full nine
month program, new moms will
receive a set of cookware.
“This program is unique in that
we are not only increasing access
to healthy food during a woman’s
pregnancy, but we are ensuring
that the moms graduate from the
program with a better understanding of how to shop for, select and
prepare nutritious food at home.
We stand behind the concept that
small dietary changes can have a
big impact on health,” La Barba
added.
La Barba is no newcomer to San
Antonio or the Children’s Hospital.
She earned her medical degree at
the University of Texas Health
Science Center–San Antonio and
completed her residency at University Hospital and the Children’s
Hospital of San Antonio (formerly
CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Children’s
Hospital). La Barba grew up in an
Italian produce family and learned
to appreciate real food at an early
age. This experience, along with
extensive training for public health
education and research, fostered
her professional commitment to
children’s nutrition. La Barba also
serves as an Assistant Professor in
the Department of Pediatrics for
Baylor College of Medicine. She
is among the more than 170 physicians recruited by Baylor College
of Medicine to become part of the
medical staff of the Children’s
Hospital of San Antonio and ensure
the children of San Antonio and
South Texas have access to worldclass medical care and treatment.

Baylor College of Medicine expands
residency program to San Antonio

Ten medical students from
across the nation learned Friday
that they have been chosen to
be part of the inaugural Baylor
College of Medicine’s pediatric
residency program based at the
Children’s Hospital of San Antonio. The event, called “Match
Day,” is the culmination of the annual National Residents Matching
Program, which pairs fourth-year
medical students with residency
programs throughout the nation.
The program adds 10 primary
care residency slots to South
Texas. Primary care physicians
are the first line providers for
medical care, and the Association
of American Medical Colleges has
identified primary care as one of
the areas in which they anticipate
a future physician shortage.
“The beginning of residency
training with these 10 new physicians is another milestone in our
affiliation with the Children’s
Hospital of San Antonio,” Dr.
Paul Klotman, president, CEO
and executive dean of Baylor said.
“In just two years, together we
have added more than 150 faculty
members and developed a training
program for new pediatricians.
This is impressive progress that
will continue as we work to provide the best care possible to the
children of San Antonio.”

underserved in San Antonio or to
train in a global site such as one
of the seven Baylor International
Pediatric AIDS Initiative Centers
of Excellence in Africa.

ESTÁNDAR DE CALIDAD ATMOSFÉRICA

SOLICITUD Vulcan Construction Materials, LP, ha solicitado a la Comisión de Calidad Ambiental de Texas
(TCEQ, por su siglas en inglés) renovación del un Permiso de Estándar de Calidad Permiso Núm. 74654L001
de Calidad Atmosférica, el cual autorizaría el funcionamiento continuo de una Planta de Lotes de Concreto

La instalación existente y/o las instalaciones relacionadas están autorizadas para emitir los siguientes contaminantes atmosféricos: materia particulada incluyendo (pero no limitada a) agregados, cemento, polvo del
camino y materia particulada con diámetros de 10 micrones o menos y de 2.5 micrones o menos.
Esta solicitud se le presentó a la TCEQ el March 3, 2015. La solicitud estarán disponibles para ser revisados
y copiados en la Oficina Central de la TCEQ, en la oficina regional de la TCEQ en San Antonio, y Mission
Branch Library, 3134 Roosevelt Avenue, San Antonio, Condado de Bexar, Texas, empezando el primer día

Si no se recibe una solicitud para audiencia dentro del plazo de 15 días, no se dará otra oportunidad

una audiencia de lo contencioso si el historial de cumplimiento normativo del solicitante se encuentra en la

petición para la audiencia está basada en cuestiones de hechos debatibles que son pertinentes y materiales para la decisión de la Comisión con respecto a la solicitud. Además, la Comisión solo concederá una
audiencia sobre cuestiones que hayan sido presentadas durante el período de comentarios públicos y que
no hayan sido retiradas.
Una persona que puede estar afectada por emisiones de contaminantes atmosféricos de una instalación tiene derecho a solicitar una audiencia. Si se solicita una audiencia de lo contencioso, debe
presentar lo siguiente: (1) su nombre (o para un grupo o una asociación, un representante oficial),
dirección, número de teléfono de día y número de facsímile, si lo tiene; (2) el nombre del solicitante
y número del permiso; (3) la declaración “[yo/nosotros] solicito/solicitamos una audiencia de caso
impugnado”; (4) una descripción específica de cómo se vería afectado adversamente por la solicitud
y las emisiones atmosféricas de la instalación de manera que no es común para el público en general;
(5) la ubicación y distancia de su propiedad con relación a la instalación; y (6) una descripción de
cómo usa la propiedad lo cual podría ser afectado por la instalación. Si la petición la hace un grupo
o una asociación, deben de identificar el miembro o los miembros que tienen derecho a solicitar una
audiencia y los intereses que el grupo o la asociación busca proteger. También puede presentar los
ajustes que propone hacer a la solicitud/permiso que satisficieran sus preocupaciones. Las peticiones
para una audiencia de lo contencioso deben presentarse por escrito dentro de 15 días después de este
aviso, a la Oficina del Secretario Oficial a la dirección que se encuentra más abajo.
Si se registra a tiempo una petición para audiencia de lo contencioso, el director ejecutivo enviará la solicitud y
cualquier petición para una audiencia de lo contencioso a los comisionados de la TCEQ para su consideración
durante una de las reuniones programadas de la Comisión. A menos que la solicitud se presente directamente
a una audiencia de lo contencioso, el director ejecutivo enviará por correo la respuesta a los comentarios junto

SOLICITUD Y DECISIÓN PRELIMINAR. United States Department of the Air Force, at’n: Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC/CIBE), 2261 Hughes Avenue, Suite 155, JBSA Lackland,
Texas 78236-9853, el cual opera las instalaciones de tratamiento de agua del subsuelo de la antigua Kelly Air Force Base ha solicitado a la Comisión de Calidad Ambiental del Estado de
Texas (TCEQ) una renovación para autorizar el Permiso del Sistema de Eliminación de Descargas de Contaminantes de Texas (TPDES) No. WQ000003955000 para autorizar la descarga
del agua tratada del subsuelo y la sustancia de enjuague en un volumen que no sobrepasa un flujo promedio de 1,000,000 galones por día a través del Desagüe 001; el agua tratada

sustancia de enjuague en un volumen que no sobrepasa un flujo promedio de 150,000 galones por día a través del Desagüe 004. La TCEQ recibió esta solicitud el 29 de agosto de 2014.
La planta está ubicada contigua a la Lackland Air Force Base al sur de la carretera U.S. Highway 90 y al este de la intersección de Leon Creek y Military Drive en la parte suroeste de
la Ciudad de San Antonio en el Condado de Bexar, Texas, 78226. El efluente es descargado por el Desagüe 001 directamente al Lower Leon Creek en el Segmento Num., 1906 de la
Cuenca del Río San Antonio; a través del Desagüe 003 al Sixmile Creek; luego al Río San Antonio Superior en el Segmento 1911 de la Cuenca del Río San Antonio; y a través del Desagüe 004 un tributario sin nombre del Lower Leon Creek; luego al Lower Leon Creek en el Segmento Num., 1906 del Río San Antonio. Los usos no clasificados de las aguas receptoras
tienen una vida acuática mínima en Sixmile Creek y el tributario sin nombre de Leon Creek. Los usos designados para el Segmento No. 1906 son para recreación de contacto primario,

COMENTARIO PUBLICO / REUNION PUBLICA. Usted puede presentar comentarios públicos o pedir una reunión pública sobre esta solicitud. El propósito de una reunión pública es
dar la oportunidad de presentar comentarios o hacer preguntas acerca de la solicitud. La TCEQ realiza una reunión pública si el Director Ejecutivo determina que hay un grado de interés
público suficiente en la solicitud o si un legislador local lo pide. Una reunión pública no es una audiencia administrativa de lo contencioso.
OPORTUNIDAD DE UNA AUDIENCIA ADMINISTRATIVA DE LO CONTENCIOSO. Después del plazo para presentar comentarios públicos, el Director Ejecutivo considerará todos los

y la dirección de una persona que representa al grupo para recibir correspondencia en el futuro; debe identificar un miembro del grupo que sería afectado adversamente
por la planta o la actividad propuesta; debe proveer la información ya indicada anteriormente con respecto a la ubicación del miembro afectado y la distancia de la planta
o actividad propuesta; debe explicar como y porqué el miembro sería afectado y como los intereses que el grupo desea proteger son pertinentes al propósito del grupo.
Después del cierre de los períodos para los pedidos y comentarios, el Director Ejecutivo enviará la solicitud y los pedidos para reconsideración o por una audiencia administrativa de lo
contenciosos a los Comisionados de la TCEQ para su consideración en una reunión programada de la Comisión.
La Comisión otorgará solamente una audiencia administrativa de lo contencioso sobre los hechos reales disputados del caso que son pertinentes y esenciales para la decisión de la
Comisión sobre la solicitud. Además, la Comisión sólo otorgará una audiencia administrativa de lo contencioso sobre los asuntos que fueron presentados antes del plazo de vencimiento
y que no fueron retirados posteriormente. Si ciertos criterios se cumplen, la TCEQ puede actuar sobre una solicitud para renovar un permiso para descargar aguas residuales
sin proveer una oportunidad de una audiencia administrativa de lo contencioso.
ACCIÓN DEL DIRECTOR EJECUTIVO. El Director Ejecutivo puede emitir una aprobación final de la solicitud a menos que exista un pedido antes del plazo de vencimiento de una audiencia administrativa de lo contencioso o se ha presentado un pedido de reconsideración. Si un pedido ha llegado antes del plazo de vencimiento de la audiencia o el pedido de reconsideración ha sido presentado, el Director Ejecutivo no emitirá una aprobación final sobre el permiso y enviará la solicitud y el pedido a los Comisionados de la TECQ para consideración
en una reunión programada de la Comisión.
LISTA DE CORREO. Si somete comentarios públicos, un pedido para una audiencia administrativa de lo contencioso o una reconsideración de la decisión del Director Ejecutivo, la Oficina del Secretario Principal enviará por correo los avisos públicos en relación con la solicitud. Además, puede pedir que la TCEQ ponga su nombre en una o más de las listas correos
siguientes (1) la lista de correo permanente para recibir los avisos del solicitante indicado por nombre y número del permiso específico y/o (2) la lista de correo en un condado especifico.

Rangers blown out in Big League Weekend

Year three of the annual Big
League Weekend hosted in the
Alamodome began with three
homerun blasts that soared into the
stands, fans sporting blue merchandise supporting both teams.
After an 8-0 lead, the Dodgers
went on to claim an 11-6 victory
over the Rangers in the Big League
Weekend exhibition in front of a
crowd of 20,591.
Both clubs combined for six
homeruns - five homers to short
field in right in right center, where
the Alamodome possess a short
porch.
Because of this batter friendly
advantage, It’s difficult to evaluate who hit well or pitched well in
the AstroTurf and hitter friendly
dimensions of the Alamodome.

en el legendario Madison Square
Garden, ante los desvalijados
Knicks de Nueva York –que
marchan en el último lugar de la
tabla general en la Conferencia del
Este–, el estratega Gregg Popovich tronó como nunca lo había
hecho llamando a su equipo falto
de ganas para competir.
Esto, al parecer, repercutió en
cada uno de los jugadores, que en
su visita al BMO Harris Bradley
Center, cueva de los Bucks de Milwaukee, contestaron con efectiva
victoria con pizarra de 114-103.
En su retorno al AT&T Center
el pasado viernes 20 de marzo,
los Spurs, que se encuentran
defendiendo su título en la NBA,
volvieron por el sendero de la
victoria al derrotar a los Celtics
de Boston con marcador de 10189. Esta fue la derrota número 38
