The Parish offices will be closed at 12:00pm on Wednesday,
November 26th for Thanksgiving and will reopen at 8:00am on
Monday December 1st. There will be no Adoration on Wednesday,
November 26th.
Fr. Clarence will be out of town on Thursday, November 27th and
Friday, November 28th, so there will be no Masses or Communion
Service on those days.

Advent Penance Service will be celebrated on Monday,
December 1st at 7:00pm. We will have a number of priests to hear

Our Sub-for-Santa Program 2014 is now accepting monetary
donations. You can drop your cash or check donations in the
collection basket or bring it to the office. Please mark it (Sub-forSanta). Do to the many functions and activities taken place in the
Social Center, we are unable to accept canned food at this time.
We will collect food at a later date. Please contact Charlie Duran

Sub-for-Santa Application 2014: We will begin accepting Sub-for
-Santa applications on November 10th, from 9:00am to noon and
1:00pm to 3:00pm in the Rotunda. This year, we are only
accepting 60 applications. You will be required to bring picture
identification, proof of residency and proof of income. If you are
unemployed you will need to bring proof of unemployment or
other public documentation. If you have any questions, please

Bakers needed!!! We will be hosting the 2nd Annual
Homemade Cookie Walk Fundraiser at Saint Rose of Lima. We
need your help making cookies for this fundraiser; any kind and
as many as you would like. The Cookie Walk will be December
13th and 14th after all Masses. Cookies will need to be turned
in by December 13th at 1:00pm in the Social Center. Please
mark all donations for the Cookie Walk. For further information

PARISH FOR GENERAL OPERATING EXPENSES. We thank

The Council of Catholic Women (CCW) will meet Tuesday,
November 11th, at 6:30pm in the Social Center. All the ladies of

Wood for the winter. Saint Rose of Lima Parish has wood for
anyone who would like to use for the winter. Please contact the
office and speak to Paul Shumway or Theresa Jackson.
Wreaths at Mt. Calvary: Mt. Calvary Cemetey is offering
evergreen wreaths to be placed at grave(s) from midDecember to February. Wreaths are beautifully decorated and
handcrafted from balsam fir. Each is mounted on a 36" wire
stand for gravesites or tied to crypt fronts. Cost: 25" wreaths for
graves and crypts-$30.00; 18" wreaths for niche fronts,
cremorials and baby sites-$26.00. Orders must be received by
November 15th, 2014. Check or credit cards orders are

Necesitamos Pasteleros!!! Estaremos patrocinando una venta
de galletas y pasteles para recaudar fondos aquí en Santa Rosa
de Lima. Necesitamos de tu ayuda para hacer galletas y
pasteles. Puedes donar cualquier tipo de galletas y tantas como
puedas. Las ventas se llevarán a cabo el 13 y 14 de diciembre
después de todas las Misas. Por favor traer las galletas al Salón
Social, el viernes 13 de diciembre a la 1:00pm. Para más

Coronas del Cementerio Monte Calvario: El Cementerio Monte
Calvario está ofreciendo coronas de flores perennes para
colocarlas en las tumbas, desde el mediado de diciembre a
febrero. Estas coronas son hechas a mano y están bellamente
decoradas con abeto balsámico. Cada corona está montada en
un soporte de alambre de 36" para tumbas o para colocarlas al
frente de las criptas. El costo de cada una es $30.00; y las
corona de 18" se colocan delante de los nichos, ceremoniales y
sitios para bebés. El costo es $26.00. Los pedidos deben
recibirse antes del 15 de noviembre. Se aceptan cheques o

Homebound Communion Ministry is in need of volunteers.
Currently, we have 5 parishioners and an assisted living center
that are requesting Communion. The time and days are flexible
according to your schedule. Time commitment is only 2 to 3
