PARISH MISSION STATEMENT
St. Kevin is a multi-cultural church committed to being an example of
gospel values in our community, as shown to us by Jesus Christ, through
our outreach to children, youth, young adults, seniors, the sick, the grieving
and especially the poor. We do this with prayer, friendship, charity, and
social justice through the programs we offer with a welcoming spirit and
by showing respect and dignity to all.

Care to the Sick; and we have a great
opportunity to do that.
On Wednesday, October 15, Father
Alfredo Gundrum will hold the session in English. Both training
sessions will start at 7:00 p.m. and be held in the church hall.

AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM
This after school safe haven program will take
place from October 14, 2014 to April 24, 2015.
The time would be from 3–6 pm at the Unity
Outreach Center located on 3065 E. 93rd St. It is
a safe, fun and educational place for children to
spend their time. It is a free program and it includes admission, snack and a meal. For more information and to
register please call 312-612-9082. Ask about their transportation
service for those who need a ride to the program.

SECOND COLLECTION FOR WORLD MISSION
Next weekend our parish will celebrate World Mission Sunday.
This year we are invited to reach out and help build the Church in
Mongolia, the world’s youngest Catholic Church, as well as local
churches throughout the Missions, in the most remote areas across
our world. Through the work of these churches, and their witness
to Christ, the poor receive practical help and experience God’s
love and mercy, His hope and peace. Please keep the Missions in
your daily prayers. Please come prepared next weekend to give
generously in the collection for the Society for the Propagation of
the Faith.
