Luca GERARDO-GIORDA, leader of Mathematical Modelling in Biosciences Group in BCAMBasque Center for Applied Mathematics, organized with Sebastiano STRAMAGLIA (University
of Bari, Italy) and Jesus M. CORTÉS, (Ikerbasque and BioCruces, Bizkaia), the Workshop for
Quantitative Biomedicine Health and Disease, Today February 17 and Tomorrow February
18 in BCAM. Local and
international highly qualified and specialized scientisits, such as
engineers, mathematicians and physicists will present their research in biomedicine
quantitative Health and disease. Special emphasis will be given to biomedical research and its
potential clinical applications.

Workshop Quantitative Biomedicine for Health and Disease, que se celebra hoy Febrero
17 y mañana Febrero 18, 2015 en BCAM. Científicos altamente cualificados en diversas
especialidades, como ingenieros, matemáticos y físicos locales e internacionales presentarán
sus estudios en biomedicina cuantitativa para la Salud y las enfermedades. Se dará especial
importancia a la investigación biomédica y sus posibles aplicaciones clínicas.
