International Seminar: “Design of an Accountability and Anti Corruption Public Policy” Mexico City, October 20- 21, 2014. I. OBJECTIVE The seminar´s main objective is to share successful experiences from different countries regarding legal frameworks, institutional design principles, and civil society proposals in order to feed into current debates on the design of an accountability and anti-corruption policy in Mexico. II. METHOD 1. The International Seminar will take place during a day and a half. Four multi-disciplinary panels, two keynote speeches, and a roundtable of conclusions are planned. Each session will address different angles regarding the design of an accountability and anti-corruption public policy. A number of case studies will be presented. 2. International Seminar, participants will be in contact with representatives from civil society organizations, academics, and public officials., 3. All Seminar activities will be recorded to produce both electronic and printed summaries. These will be made available the last day of the event. Interviews, videos, and podcasts will also be broadcasted throughout the Seminar.. 4. A website will be available for participants’ registration, consultation of relevant documents, and general information about the Seminar.
