IMPACT ON TWITTER: -­‐ @plataformadeong #JoiEU appeared 55 )mes on TwiMer with 77 retweets -­‐  The ONG PlaPorm for Social Ac)on sent 34 tweets with the hashtag #JoiEU to 2816 followers. CONCLUSIONS OF THE DEBATE : • 
Further work on the construc)on of a common European iden)ty rooted in the values of solidarity, equality and social rights is needed • 
Europe must create new par)cipa)on channels and ci)zenship ini)a)ves (ECAS). Young people are the biggest users of these new channels. • 
• 
New fast mechanisms are required to react to poli)cal crises, such as in Ukraine. • 
• 
The denial of the right to decide, removing ci)zens’ voices and crea)ng invisible people, can break Europe. (CERMI) Work is needed to promote structural change and bring Europe closer to the people. (Red Cross) Today, there is a growing mass of European ci)zens who feel increasingly insecure with diversity; and there has been increased xenophobia. Many ci)zens are unhappy with democra)c ins)tu)ons. Civil society must be part of the solu)on. Civil society can be the voice of the most vulnerable people, empowering them to vigorously denounce new aMacks. (Open Society) •  CONCLUSION FOR THE PROJECT: How did the combina)on between online and offline work? -­‐ The debate was very short considering the relevance of the topics and it was not possible to integrate ques)ons from Madrid to Brussels or Bulgaria. -­‐ Many technical problems even acer tests and checks Main findings ( based on the topic of your debate) Need to know beMer the different campaigns in order to build a global campaign efforts Recommenda)ons ( for future events) Technical training is needed before the session.
