¿Qué es el IGNIS
SCHOENSTATT 2014?
Es un encuentro mundial de la Juventud
Masculina de Schoenstatt. No es la primera
vez que la JM se reúne en nivel internacional.
Los encuentros más recientes se han dado
por ocasión de las Jornadas Mundiales de la
Juventud. El 2011 la JM se reunió en Madrid
para el UNANIMITER. En espíritu de Cenáculo,
como los apóstoles junto a María, estuvieron
“unánimes” en oración implorando el Fuego del
Espíritu. En Río de Janeiro, el 2013, en espíritu de
Pentecostés, partieron en misión por las playas y
cerros, en un encuentro que se llamó IGNIS. Ese
FUEGO de la JM Internacional de Schoenstatt
quiere seguir ardiendo en los próximos 100 años
de Schoenstatt. Por eso los próximos encuentros
internacionales quieren llamarse IGNIS.
En la celebración del centenario, la JM quiere
pedir a la Mater que sea la Reina de la Juventud
Internacional de Schoenstatt, la Reina del
Fuego, Reina de la Misión que fue confiada
a la JM para los próximos 100 años, para que
sea Ella, en adelante, la principal portadora del
Fuego de la Misión de la JM Internacional.
Ella quiere seguir corriendo con nosotros
los próximos 100 años de la JM, quiere tener
el poder, empuñar el cetro, ser la Reina,
iluminarnos con su Luz, guiarnos con su Fuego!
En esta oportunidad junto con coronar a la
MTA queremos mirar juntos hacía adelante los
desafíos de nuestro tiempo actual y proyectar
nuestra acción apostólica.
En Roma, además de reunirnos con nuestro Papa
Francisco, tendremos de nuevo la oportunidad
de salir a misionar juntos llevando a nuestra
Reina al mundo.

Was ist IGNIS
SCHOENSTATT 2014?
IGNIS ist ein internationales Treffen der
SMJ. Es ist nicht das erste mal, dass sich die
Mannesjugend auf Weltebene trifft. Die letzten
Male war es jeweils auf den Weltjugendtagen.
2011 gab es ein Treffen in Madrid mit dem
Titel UNANIMITER. Hintergrund war die Stelle
aus der Apostelgeschichte, in der die Jünger
zusammen mit Maria EINMÜTIG im Gebet um
den Heiligen Geist versammelt waren. In Rio de
Janeiro 2013 brachen die Teilnehmer, inspiriert
vom Pfingstereignis, zu einer Mission an die
Strände und in die Berge der Stadt auf. Dieses
Treffen nannte sich IGNIS (Feuer). Dieses FEUER
der internationalen Mannesjugend Schönstatts
soll weiter brennen in den nächsten 100 Jahren
Schönstatts. Deshalb werden auch die nächsten
internationalen Treffen IGNIS heißen.
Zur Feier des 100jährigen Jubiläum möchte die
Mannesjugend die Gottesmutter darum bitten,
die Königin der internationalen SMJ zu sein,
Königin des Feuers, Königin der Mission, die
uns für die nächsten hundert Jahre anvertraut ist.
Sie soll von nun an die Hauptträgerin des Feuers
der Mission der internationalen Mannesjugend
sein.
Maria möchte unseren Lauf in den nächsten
100 Jahren begleiten. Wir bitten Sie, dass sie als
unsere Königin, mit uns die Fackel ergreift, ihr
Licht unter uns leuchten lässt und uns mit ihrem
Feuer begleitet.
So wollen wir nicht nur die Gottesmutter krönen,
sondern auch auf die Herausforderungen unserer
Zeit schauen und uns und unser Apostolat auf
die Zukunft ausrichten.

What Is IGNIS
SCHOENSTATT 2014?
It is a global meeting of the Schoenstatt Male
Youth. It is not the first time that Male Youth will
have met on an international level. The most
recent encounters have been on the occasions
of the World Youth Days. In 2011, the Male
Youth met in Madrid for UNANIMITER. In the
spirit of the Cenacle, like the Apostles with Mary,
they were “unanimous” in prayer imploring the
Fire of the Spirit. In Río de Janeiro 2013, in the
spirit of Pentecost, they went on mission on the
beaches and the hills in an encounter called
IGNIS.This FIRE of the International Male Youth
of Schoenstatt wants to continue burning in the
next 100 years of Schoenstatt. Because of this,
the next international meetings will be called
IGNIS.
In the celebration of the centennial, the Male
Youth wants to ask the Mary to be the Queen of
the International Youth of Schoenstatt, the Queen
of Fire, Queen of the Mission that was entrusted
to the Male Youth for the next 100 years, so that
she, from now onward, will be the main bearer
of the Missionary Fire of the International Male
Youth.
She wants to continue running with us in the
next 100 years of the Male Youth, to have the
power, to wield the scepter, to be the Queen,
to illuminate with her light, to guide us with her
Fire.

¿Por qué estamos
coronando a la MTA?
La coronación fue una sugerencia que surgió
de los jóvenes en IGNIS Rio 2013, y la entrega
del fuego es una consecuencia natural de la
“corrida” realizada ya por segunda vez en
Alemania. La coronación quiere expresar
nuestro desvalimiento y nuestro reconocimiento
del poder intercesor de la MTA, a quién
acudimos en ayuda como Juventud Masculina
Internacional para que Ella se corone en todos
los enormes desafíos que el mundo nos plantea.
Queremos que nuevamente nuestra MTA como
nuestra Reina, nos vuelva a decir:
“No se preocupen por la realización de su deseo.
Ego diligentes me diligo. Amo a los que me aman.
Pruébenme primero con hechos que me aman
realmente y que toman en serio su propósito.”
Nuestro deseo es aspirar seriamente a la santidad
en medio del mundo, por eso queremos llevar
con frecuencia contribuciones al Capital de
Gracias, adquiriendo por medio del fiel y
fidelísimo cumplimiento del deber y por una
intensa vida de oración muchos méritos para
ponerlos a disposición de nuestra Reina, la
MTA, para que Ella continúe estando presente
en nuestro santuario, llevando el fuego de la
Alianza para los próximos 100 años, siendo
nosotros sus instrumentos. !!!
Por eso, este 18 de octubre, queremos
coronar a la MTA en el mismo lugar donde
los congregantes, nuestros hermanos mayores
sellaron hace exactamente 100 años su Alianza
de Amor.
La imagen coronada será una Virgen Peregrina,
que desde ese momento iniciará su peregrinación
por todas las juventudes masculinas de

Schoenstatt del mundo, para que Ella siga
reinando en nuestras juventudes y uniendo los
corazones en el Fuego de la Misión La forma de
la corona representa el fuego de la Misión, para
que ella lo mantenga encendido en el futuro.
En la corona están inscritos las 5 columnas y 4
pilares, que tanto la juventud alemana, como la
iberoamericana, han conquistado.
Warum krönen wir die
Mutter Gottes?
Die Idee, die Mutter Gottes zu krönen entstand
beim IGNIS in Rio 2013. Die Flammenkrone
erinnert auch an den Fackellauf, der in den
Tagen zuvor stattfand. Die Krönung ist ein
Ausdruck für unsere Begrenzung, unser
Kleinsein. Zugleich anerkennen erkennen wir
dadurch an, dass wir uns von Maria Hilfe und
Unterstützung erwarten, damit sie sich gerade in
den grossen Schwierigkeiten, welche die Welt
für uns bereithält, als Königin zeigt. Wir hoffen,
dass die Mutter Gottes sich wieder einmal vor
uns stellt und uns sagt:
“Macht euch keine Sorgen um die Erfüllung eures
Wunsches. Ego diligentes me diligo. Ich liebe die,
die mich lieben. Beweist mir erst, dass ihr mich
wirklich liebt, dass es euch ernst ist mit eurem
Vorsatz.”
Es ist unser Wunsch, inmitten der Welt heilig zu
werden. Deshalb bringen wir unsere Beiträge
zum Gnadenkapital, durch treues und treuestes
Erfüllen unserer Aufgaben und ein intensives
Lebens im Gebet. So stellen wir uns unserer
Königin zu Verfügung, damit sie, die Mutter
Gottes, weiterhin in unserem Heiligtum zugegen
sei.

Deshalb wollen wir am Vorabend des 18.
Oktober, Maria hier an diesem Ort krönen, an
dem unsere älteren Brüder vor 100 Jahren ihr
Liebesbündnis besiegelt haben.
Das Bild, das gekrönt wird, ist die pilgernde
Gottesmutter, welche von nun an ihren
Pilgerweg durch die Schönstatt-Mannesjugend
der ganzen Welt beginnt, damit Sie weiterhin in
unserer Jugend wirkt und die Herzen im Feuer
der Mission vereint.
Die Gestaltung der Krone drückt der “Feuer der
Mission” aus, das Feuer, das für unsere Aufgabe in
der Welt steht und das durch uns weiter leuchten
soll. Auf der Rückseite der Krone befinden sich
die 5 Säulen der deutschen SMJ und die 4 Säulen
der Missionarischen Generation.
Why we are crowning
the MTA?
The coronation was a suggestion that emerged
from the youth at IGNIS Río 2013, and the
passing of the torch is a natural outcome of
the “torch run” made for the second time in
Germany. The coronation wants to express
our helplessness and our recognition of the
intercessory power of the MTA, to whom we
turn for help as International Male Youth so she
can be crowned in all the huge challenges the
world presents to us. Once again, we want our
MTA as our Queen, say to us:
“Do not trouble yourselves about the fulfillment of
your desire. Ego diligentes me diligo. I love those
who love me. Prove first by your deeds that you
really love me and take your resolution seriusly.”

Our desire is to seriusly aspire to holiness in the
world, that is why we want to bring frequent
contributions to the capital of grace, acquiring
through the faithful and most faithful fulfillment
of duty and through an intense life of prayer,
many merits to make them available to our
Queen, the MTA, so that She continues to be
present in our shrine, carrying the fire of the
covenant for the next 100 years, us being their
instruments!!!
That is why, this October 18th we crown the
MTA in the same place where the sodalists, our
elder brothers exactly 100 years ago sealed the
covenant of love.
The crowned image will be a Pilgrim Virgin, that
from then on, will begin her journey through
the Schoenstatt Male Youth branches throughout
the world, so that She continues to reign in our
youths and unite their hearts with the Missionary
Fire.

1 MISSIONARY FIRE starts in the shrine in its
grace of mission and apostolic zeal. This fire
spreads with shrine-shaped flames, which
want to ignite the world with the fire of
Schoenstatt, the fire of the shrine. The longing
of Misssion of the Generación Misionera is
expressed here by flames in waves.
2 THE SHRINE This Jubilee is about the
celebration of the original shrine, the site
of the first Covenant of Love and the place
where it all begins, thus its centrality within
the symbol.
3 CROWN represents the Crown with which
the MTA will be coronated as “Queen of the
International Male Youth”.
4 VER SACRUM PYRE symbolizes excellence
of the Male Youth.

THE TORCH represents the Fackellauf torch.
The torch, besides representing the Fackellauf,
represents bringing the light, leading the way,
in this case, with the Missionary Fire for the
next 100 years.

Meetings.

THE WORLD OF THE PYRE Represents the
world of the Pyre and the Ver Sacrum that is
not on the torch. The world is the place where
we want to bring the Missionary Fire, we want
“the world to Burn”. At the same time it also
represents the internationality of this meeting
and its integration of the members of the
branches that will celebrate the jubilee in its
different locations.

FEUER DER MISSION THE FIRE is the symbol
of unity of the International Male Youth. We
want this fire to continue burning and stay
alive in the next 100 years of the work of our
Founding Father. That fire that was kindled in
the heart of the Father Kentenich as a secret
favorite idea, that fire which was echoed in
the hearts of the sodalists, for which they even
gave their lives, that fire, that in this jubilee is
brought by the Male Youth from Pompeii, is
the MISSIONARY FIRE (FEUER DER MISSION)
which with a missionary spirit we want to
burn in every corner of the Church and the
world.
THE COLORS The predominants are red and
yellow because of the fire. Complemented
by black to achieve the set of colors of the
german flag.

IDENTITY OF OUR
SCHOENSTATT YOUNG
MEN TODAY
5 columns of the Male Youth of
Germany and the 4 pillars of the
Missionary Generation.
The road to the centenary of the Covenant of
Love is lived in different ways worldwide. The
Male Youth of Germany was marked in recent
years by the conquest of the “five columns” that
define their identity:
- Gemeinschaft (Comunity)
- Lebenschule (School of Live)
- Liebesbündnis (Covenant of Love)
- Mannsein (Being Male)
- Apostelsein (An Apostle)
The Male youth in latin American Countries in
general have a long common path since 2008,
forming what has been called a “Missionary
Generation”, marked by the “four pillars“ that
characterize it:
- Covenant Culture
- Protagonism
- Missionary Fire
- International Unity
These lifestreams come together in the jubilee
celebration of Schoenstatt in an International
meeting of the male Youth of Schoenstatt.

LIBESBÜNDIS – COVENANT CULTURE
“The SYM lives with Mary in the Covenant,
their commitment to God and the people.”
The MTA approaches us and estasblishes a
personal relationship, a bond that awakens our
youthful love and our highest ideals. She invites
us to be like her, transforming our hearts through
a process of self-education and sending us to
ignite the world.
The Covenant life pushes us to want to shape
a new culture. We want to highlight what
She means to our generation. That is why we
passionately bring apostolic actions and our
ideals to the capital of grace. This fire is a gift of
the Holy Spirit which we have been given and it
originates from the fire of the covenant of love
that the sodalists sealed along with PJK.
APOSTELSEIN – MISSIONARY FIRE
“The SYM is apostolic and builds the future of
the world and the Church.”
This Covenant life becomes a Marian lifestyle,
this lifestyle is a gift we received to transmit as
a present. The Covenant invites us to purify our
local culture, setting new personal, spiritual,
social, and family ties. The Missionary Fire,
which we share as International Male Youth,
wants to enflame every aspect of life in our time
and world. This FIRE is the large inner engine,
the great cause that makes us want to shape a
new culture.
GEMEINSCHAFT ( INTERNATIONAL UNITY)
“The SYM is supported by deep relations
community.”
The International Unity that we aspire to is an
opportunity to work for the same ideals, discover
common elements that we posses, enrich each

other through exchanges of experiences and
projects, expand our horizons and realize that
there are young people in every branch that
live and entrust themselves just like us, and that
together, we form The Missionary Generation. It
is also our opportunity to take the lead in Jubilee
2014, in Church and in Society.
LEBENSCHULE (PROTAGONISM)
“The SYM is a school of life for the
development of the individual.”
Our SYM give all or nothing for their mission,
they have great initiatives and constantly struggle
to discover and live their ideal. They also assume
their responsability and fulfil it in extraordinary
ways. We are the protagonists of our own lives,
we are the protagonists of our destiny, and that
is why we serve others and know how to live
in community. Our youth is manly: “know what
they want, want what they know, and do what
they want and know” PJK
MANNSEIN (BEING MALE YOUTH)
“The SYM creates space for genuine, holistic
being a man.”
For young men, discovering their own masculinity
is a great adventure. It must be developed in
order to grow in self-esteem, to understand part
of this development and the forces that want to
measure and limit this challenge, as well as their
ability to achieve something and be creative. It
is important to us to be natural and respectable
to our body’s own statement. This has to help
us find a mature relationship with our own
sexuality.

Queridos hermanos Congregantes:
La historia vuelve a llamarnos a este Lugar de
Gracias, desde donde hace Cien Años todo
comenzó… Ustedes, los Primeros Congregantes,
nuestros hermanos mayores, comenzaron un
sueño, sembraron la semilla de la mano del
Padre Fundador, y así como iremos a pedirle a
él su fuerza para lograr la misión, queremos que
ustedes nos regalen ese fuego de la confianza
con la que permanecieron fieles a su Alianza
con la Mater.
DE
En vida demostraron, como grandes guerreros,
su amor incondicional a María: en verdad son
héroes que se jugaron su vida hasta al final por
la fecundidad de Schoenstatt y del Santuario.
Aquí nos presentamos ante ustedes: toda una
juventud masculina, venidos de muchos paises
y continentes; todo un ejercito de jóvenes
dispuestos a continuar el legado que nos han
heredado.
(Minuto de silencio en honor a los congregantes. La MTA es
traída escoltada por la Antorcha, mientras se van encendiendo
las velas personales)

En el año de 1934, el día 4 de agosto, la segunda
generación de héroes del Ver Sacrum cumplió
un sueño: traer los restos de sus congregantes
héroes a Schoenstatt, regresarlos a su casa,
regresarlos a su Santuario. Lo lograron y bajo
estas tumbas un pergamino oculto revela las
siguientes palabras:

COMO ELLOS, TODAS LAS FUERZAS

Y más tarde, el 31 de octubre de 1938, al ser
tomado estos lugares por el Nacionalsocialismo,
decidieron colocar la placa de mármol al pie de
la piedra de José Engling con la inscripción:
“GUARDAMOS SU HERENCIA”

La primera generación de héroes sentó las
bases del Schoenstatt que hoy conocemos.
Su ejemplo preclaro nos enseñó que todos
podemos ser santos de la vida diaria, y su fuerza
se ha mantenido durante 100 años. Nosotros,
cada uno de los aquí presentes, somos la prueba
de ello.

Ellos no lo vieron realizado, pero seguramente
desde arriba, el Padre Kentenich y los
Congregantes celebran hoy con nosotros que
finalmente: ¡La casa es nuestra, el Santuario es
nuestro!
DE
Si ellos marcaron la historia durante 100 años,
ahora nos toca a nosotros preparar el camino
hacia el bicentenario. En 1914 un grupo
reducido de jóvenes atendieron al llamado
de una misión, con un sí, dispuestos a todo y
se entregaron al máximo. Hoy somos más de
800 jóvenes de distintos países, soñemos con
hacer grandes cosas para nuestro movimiento,
nosotros se lo debemos a ellos, a nuestros
Congregnates, al PJK y a la Mater.

¡Cuántas veces en la historia del mundo ha
sido lo pequeño e insignificante el origen de lo
grande, de lo más grande! ¿Por qué no podría
suceder también lo mismo con nosotros?”

Quien conoce el pasado de nuestra Juventud
no tendrá dificultades en creer que la Divina
Providencia tiene planes especiales para nuestra
JM Internacional.
¡Bienvenidos sean todos!
Para algunos esta es la primera vez que vienen a
este lugar, al lugar que hizo posible que la Mater
llegará a nuestras vidas. Hemos venido desde
distintas partes del mundo para consolidarnos
en unidad, ideales y espíritu internacional.
Recordemos que a la sombra del Santuario se
forjarán hombres santos.

Pero, por qué y para qué estamos aquí? a qué
hemos venido?
Queremos que en este 2014, año Jubilar, los
jóvenes schoenstatianos podamos regalar una
Corona de nuestro fuego a nuestra Madre
Tres veces Admirable de Schoesntatt en
agradecimiento por 100 años de la Alianza de
Amor.
Ya están ardiendo sus corazones?....

esfuerzo y de la actividad de los mejores, si
nosotros, lográsemos introducir en nuestras
Ramas un ardiente amor a María, y una intensa
aspiración a la santidad, como no la habido
jamás”.
Debemos confiar en que como hermanos
podemos seguir construyendo, de ahora en
adelante, sobre lo que nuestros antepasados
iniciaron, y también sobre lo que nosotros hemos
alcanzado hasta ahora… así haremos grandes
progresos para las generaciones venideras.

se preocupen por la realización de su deseo.

Tomemos entonces para nuestra Generación
Misionera la secreta idea predilecta del Padre
y exclamemos así como San Pedro: “¡Qué
bien estamos aquí! ¡Hagamos tres tiendas!...
Y no crean que es algo extraordinario, si
ustedes suben al máximo – más allá que las
generaciones pasadas – las exigencias que se
ponen a sí mismos, dado el tiempo tan serio y
tan grande como el que vivimos actualmente”

María nos escogió como sus instrumentos
predilectos para celebrar junto a Ella y a toda la
Familia los 100 años; por ello estamos alegres
y seguros de la misión, alegres y seguros de la
Victoria, pues estamos seguros que es el plan
de Dios.

DE
El Padre Fundador nos convoca a ser herederos
de un gran pasado, portadores de una enorme
tarea del presente y constructores de un gran
futuro. La Madre ha dispuesto que nosotros
– su Juventud Masculina – seamos quienes
la acompañemos en el inicio del próximo
siglo. Recordemos que como juventud
masculina somos el pilar del movimiento, la
fuerza renovadora, los portadores del espíritu
originario; nosotros fuimos escogidos para
instaurar el Reino de María aquí en la Tierra
e impulsar a toda la Familia en esa marcha
triunfal.

Hoy querida Madre queremos coronarte y
pedirte que seas la Reina de toda la Juventud
Masculina Internacional.
Reina nuestra, recibe esta corona que te
ofrecemos, y acéptanos como instrumentos:

pilares de la GM y columnas de la JM Alemana.)

Madre esta noche queremos renovar nuestra
Alianza contigo, tu Alianza es nuestra misión
y juramos que nuestra fidelidad al aporte al
Capital de Gracias será como esta corona en
llamas, será un fuego que no se extingue. No
sabemos que se nos exigirá mañana a causa
de nuestra entrega total, pero sabemos que
la respuesta hacia nuestro Fundador será un
constante y sincero: Sí padre voy contigo, para
junto a él y a nuestros hermanos congregantes,
Coronarte en cada situación de nuestra Vida.

zu diesem Gnadenort zu kommen, an dem
vor hundert Jahren alles begann. Ihr, die erste
Gründergeneration, unsere älteren Brüder, habt
einen Traum ins Leben gerufen. Ihr habt die
Samen aus der Hand unseres Vater und Gründers
angenommen. So wie wir ihn um Kraft für
unsere Sendung bitten, möchten wir euch bitten,
uns das Feuer der Zuversicht zu schenken, das
euch geholfen hat, dem Liebesbündnis mit der
Gottesmutter treu zu bleiben.

In eurem Leben habt ihr heldenhaft eure
bedingungslose Liebe zu Maria gezeigt: ihr
seid wirklich Helden und habt euch bis zum
Ende eures Lebens dafür eingesetzt, dass
Schönstatt und das Heiligtum fruchtbar werden.
Wir stehen hier vor euch, wir, die gesamte
Mannesjugend, eine Schar von Jugendlichen,
die aus verschiedenen Ländern und Kontinenten
zusammengekommen ist, bereit, uns für das
Erbe einzusetzen, das ihr uns hinterlassen habt.

Im Jahr 1934, am 4. August hat die zweite
Generation der Helden, genannt „Ver Sacrum“,
einen Traum erfüllt; sie überführten die
sterblichen Reste der Soldalen nach Schönstatt,
zurück in ihre Heimat und zum Heiligtum. Ein
unter dieser Grabstätte verborgenes Dokument
enthält die folgenden Worte:

Und später, am 31. Oktober 1938, als
Nationalsozialisten diese Orte in Beschlag
nahmen, wurde beschlossen, am Fuße des
Englingsteins eine Marmortafel mit der Inschrift
anzubringen: “WIR BEWAHREN SEINE ERBE”

Die erste Heldengeneration hat die Fundamente
Schönstatts gelegt, so wie wir sie heute kennen.
Ihr vorbildhaftes Beispiel hat uns gelehrt, dass
wir alle Werktagsheilige sein können. Diese
Kraft haben wir 100 Jahre hindurch bewahrt.
Jeder Einzelne von uns, der hier anwesend ist,
ist der lebendige Beweis dafür.

Sie haben diesen Traum in ihrem Leben nicht
vollendet gesehen, aber sicherlich sagen Pater
Kentenich und die gesamte Gründergeneration
heute vom Himmel aus mit uns gemeinsam:

So wie sie die Geschichte der ersten 100 Jahre
geprägt haben, ist es nun unsere Aufgabe, den
Weg ins nächste Jahrhundert vorzubereiten.
Im Jahr 1914 erging an eine kleine Gruppe
von jungen Menschen die Einladung, und sie
haben Ja gesagt. Zu allem waren sie bereit,
und setzten dafür ihr ganzes Leben ein. Heute
stehen hier mehr als 400 junge Menschen
aus verschiedenen Ländern versammelt. Wir
träumen davon, Großes für unsere Bewegung
zu tun. All dies verdanken wir ihnen: den
Mitgründern, Pater Kentenich und Maria.

Wer die Vergangenheit unserer Jugend kennt,
dem wird es nicht schwer, zu glauben, dass die
göttliche Vorsehung mit der internationalen SMJ
noch etwas Besonderes vorhat.
Herzlich Willkommen! Für manche ist dies
ihr erster Besuch an diesem Ort, der dazu
beigetragen hat, dass die Gottesmutter in unser
Leben eingetreten ist. Wir sind aus verschiedenen
Teilen der Welt angereist, um unsere Einheit zu
festigen, unsere Ideale und das internationale
Bewusstsein. Denkt daran, dass im Schatten des
Heiligtums heilige Männer gebildet werden.

Unser Vater und Gründer lädt uns ein, die
Erben einer großen Vergangenheit zu sein,
in der Gegenwart eine wichtige Aufgabe zu
übernehmen und an einer großen Zukunft zu
bauen. Die Gottesmutter hat entschieden, dass
wir - ihre Jugend - sie ins nächste Jahrhundert
begleiten sollen. Vergesst nicht, dass die
Mannesjugend der Ursprung der Bewegung ist,
die erneuende Kraft, Träger des ursprünglichen
Geistes; wir wurden auserwählt, um das Reich
der Gottesmutter hier auf der Erde zu begründen

ADORATION CHURCH

The male youth has crowned Mary as Queen
of the international Youth, and we want take
that crown, that fire to the feet of our founding
father, who lit up that fire in us. We would like to
present it, so that he sends us into the world with
that “Fire for the Mission”. This is why we want
to go in a pilgrimage to Father Kentenich tomb,
where we can have an encounter him.

After crowning Mary as our Queen and being in
the tomb of the founding father, we do not lose
sight of the whole work of his life that was to
build the Kingdom of Christ on earth. Everything
is in Christ, he is the son of God, born of Mary
who came to redeem us and give us new life.
That new life we have experienced every one of
us in Schoenstatt, in the privacy of the shrine, in
the vicinity of the heart of Christ to the heart of
Mary. So we want also to look to Jesus, praise
and thank Him for these 100 years of covenant
and want to ask for the fruitfulness of the Church
and in the world of Schoenstatt.

hemos coronado a la MTA como la Reina de

Continuaremos nuestro encuentro IGNIS
donde nos confrontaremos con los desafios
mas relevantes que hoy se nos presentan como
Juventud de Schoenstatt. Para ello mostraremos
entrevistas de jovenes de diferentes paises,
videos y reflexiones que nos ayudaran a
profundizar en torno a estos desafios.
REFLEXIÓN
Pocas veces tenemos la oportunidad de
encontrarnos como Juventud Masculina
Internacional, ¡Que regalo estar juntos y ser
escogidos como la Generación de los 100 años,
la Generación del Fuego de la Misión, la misión
de Schoenstatt, la Misión del Padre Kentenich!
Somos una nueva generación y queremos
hacernos responsables de este fuego, ese mismo
fuego que encarnaron los Congregantes, el Ver
Sacrum y tantos otros jóvenes a lo largo del
mundo. ¿Qué significa esto? Significa hacernos
cargo de la herencia de Los primeros y soñar
con los DESAFÍOS de los próximos 100 años.
Es por eso que queremos coronar a la Mater como
“Reina de la Juventud Masculina Internacional,
para que en la fuerza de la Alianza con nuestro
fuego podamos salir renovados a encender el
mundo.
Luego de la coronación queremos reunirnos
como Juventud Internacional para reflexionar
y responder frente a los desafíos que se nos
presentan en la actualidad.

Autoeducacion, afectividad y Sexualidad
El Padre José Kentenich nos invita a crecer e
integrar nuestra vida afectiva y sexualidad, a
dejar espacio para cultivar el mundo interior.
Es por eso que queremos preguntarnos lo
siguiente: ¿Crees que la autoeducación, la
integración de la afectividad y sexualidad son
temas importantes para los tiempos actuales?
¿Por qué?, y ¿qué herramientas te entrega la
juventud masculina de Schoenstatt en tu país
para trabajar estos temas?
Vinculos y relaciones humanas
Vivimos una época vertiginosa, donde todo va
rápido, sin tener tiempo para encontrarnos el
uno con el otro. Vivimos desarraigados, muchos
hombres y mujeres experimentan un gran vacío
interior. La búsqueda del éxito y perfeccionismo
nos hacen olvidar que existe un otro que nos
necesita y que busca ser amado, respetado,
dignificado. En definitiva todos necesitamos
un hogar, una familia. ¿Crees que la Juventud
Masculina de Schoenstatt de tu país tiene una
propuesta en el tema de crear vínculos en
nuestra sociedad?
Redes sociales (internet)
La tecnología, los celulares inteligentes, tablets,
computadores e internet han abierto un mundo
de oportunidades hasta ahora inimaginable.
Pero a la vez nos han desconectado de nosotros
mismos y los demás. ¿La tecnología está al
servicio del hombre o el hombre al servicio
de la tecnología? Muchas veces los medios
de comunicación nos esclavizan y nos quitan
libertad. Por otro lado ver todo lo positivo y de
los medios de comunicación son una excelente
herramienta para poder evangelizar.

frente a los cambios de estilos de comunicación

Apostolado y Mision
Aquello que hemos recibido en nuestros
Santuarios, No puede quedar para nosotros
¡tenemos que regalarlo al mundo! Schoenstatt
y la MTA llenan nuestras vidas, debemos salir y
llevar el fuego de la Misión en los lugares donde
estudiamos, en nuestra familia, mundo e iglesia.
- ¿Hay algún apostolado que haga la Juventud
Masculina de tu país en el que participes? ¿de
qué se trata? ¿por qué crees que es necesario?
- ¿Crees que Schoenstatt debe transmitir su
carisma, estilo y formas de vivir la fe en lugares
donde no es conocido? ¿Por qué?
Iglesia
Schoenstatt nace Como un movimiento al
servicio de la Iglesia. No es por casualidad la
frase con la cual identificamos a nuestro fundador
¡Dilexit Ecclesiam (Amó a la Iglesia). A veces
podemos encerrarnos en nuestros santuarios y
sentirnos autosuficientes, demasiado cómodos.
El Papa Francisco nos invita a salir para regalar
nuestra espiritualidad a la Iglesia. Por un lado,
regalar lo nuestro, ponernos al servicio. Por otro
lado dejarnos enriquecer por la vida eclesial,
por otros movimientos, por la vida parroquial.
- Crees que Schoenstatt debería estar al servicio
de la Iglesia Católica? ¿por qué, de qué manera?

relaciona con la Iglesia Católica de tu país?

Pobreza
El mundo occidental avanza en la tecnología y
la acumulación de riquezas a pasos agigantados,
pero, ¡cuántos se quedan debajo de ese
desarrollo! ¡Cuánta pobreza vemos alrededor
nuestro! Hay miles de personas que mueren
de hambre en algunos lugares del mundo, o
incluso cerca de nuestras casas. Es un tema que
nos afecta a todos a nivel mundial y debemos
responder desde nuestra actitud personal y
también desde nuestra espiritualidad.
- ¿Se hace cargo la Juventud Masculina de
Schoenstatt de la pobreza en tu país? ¿de qué
manera? ¿Crees qué es necesario hacerse
responsable de ello?
- ¿Cuál crees que es el aporte del Schoenstatt en
este tema?
Politica y temas de contingencia social
El Padre Kentenich nos dice que debemos tener
la mano en el pulso del tiempo y el oído en el
corazón de Dios. ¡Como schoenstattianos nos
preocupan las cosas del mundo! Los temas
sociales, las crisis que viven nuestros países, la
situación de los marginados, etc. Nos referimos
a los temas de contingencia social, las cosas
que suceden en el mundo. Si somos hijos de
la fe practica en la divina providencia Estamos
llamado a escuchar la voz de Dios en el alma,
en el ser y en el tiempo.

Dinámica de elección de desafíos.
Cada uno tendra que escoger un desafio que le
motive y que se sienta llamado a comprometerse
de manera personal. Estos podran ser elegidos
el dia viernes 17, en la Iglesia de la Adoracion,
mientras vamos saliendo de la tumba del Padre
Kentenich. Al elegir este desafio quedo inscrito
en uno de los grupos de reflexion tanto en
ingles como en espanol que tendremos como
juventud masculina internacional el dia 19 en
la manana.

Wir setzen unser IGNIS-Treffen fort, indem wir
uns mit den wichtigsten Herausforderungen
auseinandersetzen, mit denen wir heute als
Schönstattjugend zu tun haben. Dazu gibt es
Interviews mit Jugendlichen aus verschiedenen
Ländern, Videos und Impulse, die uns helfen
werden, das Thema zu vertiefen.
Hintergrund
Nur selten haben wir die Gelegenheit, uns als
internationale Schönstatt-Mannesjugend zu
treffen. Es ist ein großes Geschenk, dass wir
die Generation des Jubiläums sein dürfen, die
Generation, die das Feuer der Mission trägt, der
Sendung Schönstatts und Pater Kentenichs.
Wir sind eine neue Generation und wollen
Verantwortung übernehmen für das Feuer, das
die Gründergeneration entfacht hat und durch
die Geschichte hindurch viele Jugendliche auf
der ganzen Welt. Was heißt das? Es bedeutet,
dass wir das Erbe der Ersten ernst nehmen
und mit einer Vision für die Zukunft den
Herausforderungen der kommenden 100 Jahre
begegnen.
Deshalb haben wir die Gottesmutter als „Königin
der internationalen SMJ“ gekrönt, damit wir
erneuert in der Kraft des Liebesbündnisses
ausströmen, um die Welt zu entzünden.
Nach der Krönung wollen wir uns als
internationale SMJ erneut treffen, um über die
Herausforderungen unserer Zeit nachzudenken
und eine Antwort darauf zu geben.

Selbsterziehung und Sexualität
Pater Kentenich lädt uns ein, unsere Gefühlswelt
und Sexualität in die eigene Persönlichkeit zu
integrieren und der Pflege des inneren Lebens
Raum zu geben. Deshalb wollen wir uns fragen:
- Glaubst du, dass Selbsterziehung, die Integration
des Gefühlslebens und der Sexualität wichtige
Themen unserer Zeit sind? Warum? Welchen
Beitrag liefert die Schönstatt-Mannesjugend zu
diesen Themen?
Bindungen und menschliche Beziehungen
Wir leben in einer Schwindel erregenden Zeit,
in der alles schnell geht. Oft bleibt wenig Zeit
für menschliche Begegnungen. Wir leben
entwurzelt, viele verspüren eine große innere
Leere. Die Suche nach Erfolg und Perfektion
lässt uns vergessen, dass es andere Menschen
gibt, die uns brauchen und die sich danach
sehnen, geliebt, geschätzt und gewürdigt zu
werden. Jeder von uns braucht ein Zuhause,
eine Familie.
- Glaubst du, dass die SMJ in deinem Land eine
Antwort darauf gibt, wie Bindungen in unserer
Gesellschaft gepflegt werden können.
Soziale Netzwerke (Internet)
Mit der Technologie – Smartphones, Tablets,
Computer und Internet – hat sich eine Welt
von Möglichkeiten aufgetan, die bis heute
unvorstellbar scheint. Aber gleichzeitig besteht
die Gefahr, uns von uns selbst und den anderen
zu entfernen. Dient die Technik dem Menschen
oder der Mensch der Technik? Oft rauben uns die
Kommunikationsmittel unsere Freiheit. Auf der
anderen Seite gibt es auch viele positive Aspekte
zu beobachten. U. a. sind die Möglichkeiten
sozialer Kommunikation ein wunderbares Mittel

des Apostolats.
- Glaubst du, dass Schönstatt eine Antwort
geben kann auf die Veränderung von
Kommunikationsweisen? Was könnte eine
mögliche Antwort sein?
- Wie sollte ein Schönstätter mit sozialen

Kommunikationsmitteln
umgehen? Wie können wir sie auf positive
Weise nutzen?
Apostolat und Mission
Was wir in unseren Heiligtümern empfangen
haben, sollten wir nicht für uns selbst behalten,
sondern es der Welt weitergeben. Wir machen
die Erfahrung, dass Schönstatt und die MTA
unser Leben bereichern. Gehen wir hinaus und
tragen das Feuer der Mission an die Orte, an
denen wir studieren, in unsere Familien, in Welt
und Kirche.
- Welche apostolischen Initiativen gibt es bei
euch in der SMJ? Worum handelt es sich?
- Denkst du, dass Schönstatt bekannter werden
sollte? Welchen Gewinn hätten Menschen, die
es noch nicht kennen, von unserem Charisma
und unserer Art zu leben?
Kirche
Schönstatt ist als eine Bewegung entstanden,
die dem Leben der Kirche dient. Es ist kein
Zufall, dass wir unseren Gründer mit dem Satz
in Verbindung bringen: Dilexit Ecclesiam. (Er
liebte die Kirche.) Manchmal verschließen wir
uns vielleicht in unseren Heiligtümern und
genügen uns selbst. Papst Franziskus fordert uns
auf, hinauszugehen, um unsere Spiritualität der
Kirche zu schenken. Das heißt einerseits, das
unsere zu schenken, uns in Dienst zu stellen.
Auf der anderen Seite dürfen wir uns durch

das Leben der Kirche bereichern lassen, durch
andere Bewegungen, durch die Pfarreien.
- Hat Schönstatt der Kirche etwas zu bieten?
Was denkst du? Wie wird das konkret?
- In welcher Weise ist die SMJ mit der Kirche in
deinem Land verbunden?
- Welchen Beitrag können wir als jugendliche
Schönstätter der Kirche in deinem Land bringen?
Armut
Der Fortschritt in der westlichen Welt,
verbunden mit der Anhäufung von Reichtum,
schreitet mit Riesenschritten voran. Viele jedoch
bleiben von dieser Entwicklung abgeschnitten.
Wieviel Armut gibt es um uns herum. Es gibt
Tausende von Menschen, die irgendwo in der
Welt an Hunger sterben. Es ist ein Thema, das
uns weltweit alle betrifft und das uns zu einer
Antwort herausfordert, sowohl aus unserer
persönlichen Einstellung heraus als auch von
unserer Spiritualität her.
- Welche Erfahrungen habt ihr mit dem Thema
Armut in eurem Land? Denkst du, dass wir in
diesem Bereich eine Verantwortung haben?
- Was könnte der Beitrag Schönstatts zu diesem
Thema sein?
Politik und Gesellschaft
Pater Kentenich ruft uns auf, die Hand am
Puls der Zeit und das Ohr am Herzen Gottes
zu haben. Als Schönstätter tragen wir Sorge
für die Welt: soziale Themen, die derzeitige
Krise in einigen unserer Länder, die Situation
der Menschen am Rand der Gesellschaft, etc.
Es geht um gesellschaftliche Themen, um das,
was in der Welt passiert. Wir sind geprägt vom
Vorsehungsglauben, gerufen, Gottes Stimme in

der Seele, im Sein und in der Zeit zu hören.
- Hast du den Eindruck, dass Schönstatt in
deinem Land in der Politik und in sozialen
Fragen präsent ist?
- Glaubst du, dass es wichtig wäre, diesem
Thema in der SMJ mehr Gewicht zu geben?
Warum? Glaubst du, dass wir etwas verändern
können?
Vorgehen zur Auswahl der Herausforderungen
Jeder soll eine Herausforderung auswählen, die
ihn motiviert und bei der er sich angeregt fühlt,
sich persönlich einzubringen. Diese können
am Freitag, 17.10. in der Anbetungskirche
im Zusammenhang mit dem Besuch am Grab
Pater Kentenichs ausgewählt werden. Mit
der Auswahl verbunden ist die Bildung von
Gesprächsgruppen auf Spanisch bzw. Englisch
für das Treffen am 19.10. vormittags.

We rarely have the opportunity to meet
as International Male Youth, what a gift to
be chosen as the generation of 100 years,
the generation of the Missionary Fire, the
mission of Schoenstatt, the Mission of Father
Kentenich!
We are a new generation and we want to
make us responsible for this fire, the same
fire that embodied the Sodalists, the Ver
Sacrum and so many other young people
throughout the world. What does this mean?
It Means to take charge of the inheritance
of the first, and dream with the challenges of
the next 100 years.
That is why we want to crown the Mater as
“Queen of the international male youth”, so
that in the strength of the Covenant we can
leave renewed to ignite the world.
After the coronation we intend to meet as
International Youth to reflect and respond to
the challenges presented to us nowadays.

Self-education, affectivity and sexuality
Father Joseph Kentenich invites us to grow and
integrate our affective life and sexuality, to leave
space to cultivate the inner world. It is why we
want to ask ourselves the following: Do you
think that self-education, integration of the
affectivity and sexuality are important issues for
the current times? Why?, and what tools does
the Male Youth of Schoenstatt deliver in your
country to work these issues?
Bonds and human relations
We live in an dizzying era, where everything
is going fast, without having time to find each
other. We live rootless, many men and women
experience a great inner emptiness. The quest
for success and perfectionism makes us forget
that there is a another who needs us and wants
to be loved, respected, dignified. Ultimately we
all need a home, a family. Do you think that the
Male Youth of Schoenstatt in your country has a
proposal on the issue of creating bonds in our
society?
Social Networks (internet)
Technology, smart phones, tablets, computers
and the internet have opened up a world of
unimaginable opportunities until now. But at the
same time, it has disconnected us from ourselves
and others. Is technology at the service of man
or is man at the service of technology? Many
times the media enslaves us and takes away
our freedom. On the other hand See everything
positive and the media is an excellent tool to
evangelize.

Apostolate and Mission
What we have received in our shrines, cannot
stay with us, we have to give it away to the world!
Schoenstatt and the MTA fill our lives, we should
come out and carry the Missionary Fire into the
places where we study, into our family, church and
world.
- Is there any apostolate that the Male Youth of your
country makes in which you participate? What is it
about? Why do you think it is necessary?
- Do You Think that Schoenstatt must transmit its
charisma, style and ways of living the faith in places
where it is not known? Why is that?
Church:
Schoenstatt was born as a Movement to the service
of the Church. It is not by chance the phrase with
which we identify our founder ¡dilexit Ecclesiam
(loved the Church). Sometimes we can retreat into
our shrines and feel self-sufficient, too comfortable.
Pope Francis invites us to come out to give our
spirituality to the Church. On one hand, give away
what is ours, place ourselves at service. On the other
hand allow ourselves to be enriched by the ecclesial
life, by other movements, by the parish life.
We want to reflect:
- Do you think that Schoenstatt should be at the
service of the Catholic Church? Why, how?
- Does the Male Youth of Schoenstatt is related to
the Catholic Church in your country? In what ways?

Poverty
The western world is advancing in technology
and accumulation of wealth by leaps and bounds,
but how many fall below that development!
How Much poverty we see around us! There are
thousands of people who die of hunger in some
places in the world, or even close to our homes.
It is a topic that affects all of us at a global
level and we must respond from our personal
attitude and also from our spirituality.
- Does the Male Youth of Schoenstatt take care
of poverty in your country? In what ways? Do
you think it’s necessary to take responsibility
for this?
- What do you think is the contribution of
Schoenstatt in this topic?
Politics and social contingency issues
Father Kentenich tells us that we must have
the hand on the pulse of the time and the ear
in the heart of God. As Schoenstatters we are
concerned about the things of the world! Social
issues, the crisis that endure our countries, the
situation of the marginalized, etc. We refer to
the topics of social contingency, the things
that happen in the world. If we are sons of the
practical faith in the divine Providence we are
called to listen to the voice of God in the soul,
in the being and in the time.
- Have you ever seen that Schoenstatt is present
in the political and social changes in your

Dynamics in the choice of challenges
Each one will have to choose a challenge that
motivates you and that you feel called to commit
yourselves in a personal way. These may be
chosen on Friday the 17th, in the Adoration
Church, while we are coming out of the tomb of
Father Kentenich. When I choose this challenge
I am enrolled in one of the reflection groups in
both English and Spanish, that we will have as
International Male Youth on the 19th in the
morning.
