Allianz Birdie Challenge
At the 2014 Allianz Championship, Allianz Life implemented the Allianz Birdie
Challenge. The challenge was designed for all fans to follow the tournament
on social media and tweet #AllianzBirdies. For every tweet with the hashtag
AllianzBirdies, Allianz Life donated $1 to the Junior
Achievement of South Florida which resulted in a
$25,000 donation.
Moabery Champions Challenge
The “Moabery Champions Challenge” was created at the 2013 Allianz Championship
where local businessmen and philanthropist, Abdol Moabery and his wife Kathy
would personally pledge $1,000 per birdie and $5,000 for each eagle scored by the
current year defending champion. In just two years MCC raised $53,000 to benefit
Boca Regional’s Toppel Family Place Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
Military Appreciation
In 2014 the Allianz Championship honored Captain Ben Harrow, a decorated
Afghanistan war hero, with a $15,000 check for the Gary Sinese Foundation during
the opening tee shot. A viewer on the Golf Channel then called in and made
a contribution of $30,000 totaling $45,000 donation. Also on the final day of
the tournament, South Florida Marines tended the flag for all Champions TOUR
professionals on the 18th hole to honor all our military heroes.

coverage, but it will also be in front of 80,000 spectators
all week long. Your company logo will be placed on 78 PGA
Champions Tour professionals’ golf carts, and 175 Pro-Am and
